| Reading in todays Grauniad that Cruddas has gone to Germany to review their model of social democracy as part of his brief to lead Labours policy review. When I look at the intellectually lacking, arrogant and cosseted fools across both benches this guy gives me some hope.
He's cute in not putting his head above the parapet lest the Tory press try and create a McCartyite witch hunt, like we have seen towards Barack Obama. However I wish he would signal his intent, I would rejoin the labour party tomorrow if he did. |

I'm afraid anything that comes out of any 'policy review' which suggests that the Labour party are moving towards a more social-democratic model is just going to be hot air. They are bought and owned by corporate power just like the Tories. Alright they've thrown the odd bone to working people (i.e. the minimum wage - how long before the Tories start calling for that to be scrapped) and they keep on the odd decent man like Dennis Skinner, but they are still a party that is geared towards serving large corporations, not the ordinary citizen. |
