Still up for discussion GOB, it all depends how much we raise. Personally I hope the board is still very much on, the player sponsorship seems popular but it's a bit of a "johnny come lately" and although the junket that goes with it is not my bag, and difficult for exiles to benefit from. I'm sure we can find a fair way to send a fair cross section of members to it. We did mention the ad board to JB at our meeting and he seemed enthusiastic enough. |

Just a quick couple of points to clear up any misunderstanding.
Jock, apologies for ADT but in another place it was an easy way to get around it being blocked and old typing habits die hard. Season Ticket holders? We’re all members now, well, when I’ve paid I will be. You could do a lot worse than Ollie Chenoweth a really decent lad.
Andy, that is an outrageous suggestion (and now confirmed by Jock as incorrect) catch you for a beer soon. Not that it matters a jot but I personally think its great that ATD sponsor a player/ground advertise as its more money going into the Argyle pot which can’t be a bad thing. I genuinely hope that people honour their pledges and you reach your target.
Dougie. There are more ways to bang a drum than in the upright position and in the open. But point taken.
Fancy chipping in Tony? Y'know, being 'one of us' now?
If we are going to do a player, Blanchard would seem a great choice. Though as I type I'm envisaging frantic PM's to Nikkk on Pasoti, begging him to buy up anyone first-teamworthy...
There's an exposure risk with a player - he could turn out to be injured all season, or shit, and nowhere near the first team. Therefore he becomes 'off the radar', so to speak. Czar, thank you for the warm and inclusive welcome (well, best Ive had anyway!)
Its a difficult one, but so far this week I have bought a signed ball (delighted) and made a small contribution to the Purse collection (sorry). Once the paypal is up and running I will match my contribution on Pasoti with one here, hows that?Have you checked which players still need sponsorship? Perhaps a good idea to harness horse before riding off, so to speak?
Its probably not fashionable to say this but Im really not anyones bar my own and appreciate good people whichever site they are on. The reverse is also true.
Opps, I may have entered repeatsville with Andy:) FFS Tony, you've just cost me a further £1 ! |

| Personally I prefer the sponsor role. As an exile, not to worried about attending any do's, just think it would be nice to have "our" player. Plus, mentioned every match in the programme. The advertising board doesn't do much for me tbh. |

| I prefer the idea of a board, mainly cos I hate our current crop of 'players' and don't think any of them deserve to be linked with a site even as utterly average as this one. If any of them score a hatrick against Parkway in pre-season, I'll OBVO change my mind.
An advertising board and maybe a continued presence on the Trust newsletters. That'd be nice. |

| Chemical is gathering all the costs for the upcoming season + players available for sponsorship. Once we have all the figures at our fingertips the members can make a choice. I'm still hoping we can manage both and keep everyone happy..my main mission in life If we end up with a player nobody's allowed to say anything horrible about him on here |

Tringy, delighted to see you again, does the ex pat lifestyle suit you?
Ofcourse nothing in this life is free, but the pint and a pasty as part of an inclusive deal is still appealing at many levels. A good place to catch up with friends old and newer from Pasoti, ATTD and non aligned. Makes you realise the online shinanigans are confined to such a small number as most fans have no idea about "our" websites and their fall outs.
And hey, look on the brightside, the pasties are Gingsters:)
Stapes before he had his head turned by making probably more money than he would otherwise envisage was a good Chairman of a good Board in my view. Not the richest in the League, but that was never likely.
Once the head was the writing was on the wall. You will recall I tried to warn people against Kagami and the likelihood it was only a property deal. It didnt make me any friends on Pasoti for months, how times change eh? Haha ! welcome to ATD Tony ! The expat lifestyle is mostly acceptable. Been here four years now and will do two more all being well. When our youngest child finishes school we'll base ourselves back in Tring for the summers, enjoy plenty of cricket and lashings of bitter beer ! Might even get to a match or two if the wind is blowing in the right direction through the corridors of power at HP |

I might see if Nick can help with creating one of those 'Donate' buttons to make things easier.
ATD Paypal Account Jock click on the link above and either donate from your PayPal account or you can use the credit card bank details option- Charlie donated via the latter method so it is doable. |

Donated £20 for now, it's in my partners name, but if I can afford more at another time I'll try and match everyone else's £50. I'm not working so I'm a bit skint right now. |

See Chemical Ali's reply SS68. If you don't have a PayPal account you can still use the link and just put your card details in. |

| That's more than generous Jock, there'll be no cock measuring or medals awarded on here.
From each according to his ability...as Andy's old mate Karl would say. |

Well Tiger Woods is one shot off the lead in the first round of The Memorial tournament, 2 under, which isn't going to be far off when all the first rounds have finished. If he wins, or Nicholas Coelsarts who is 1 under after 5 holes, then I will contribute more. |
