| How many away miles will you be doing this season?PLYMOUTH Argyle will have five away games which involve round trips of more than 600 miles in League Two next season. In total, the Pilgrims will cover 10,908 miles – according to the route planner on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] – as they travel around the country during the 2012/13 campaign. That works at an average of 474 miles per match. However, Argyle will also have three away games which involve round trips of less than 250 miles, including Devon derbies against Torquay United and Exeter City. The Pilgrims' longest trek will be the 676 miles to and from newly-promoted York City, the Football Conference play-off final winners earlier this month. York beat Luton Town 2-1 at Wembley to secure their return to the Football League after an eight-year absence. Argyle's last visit to York's Bootham Crescent home ground was in September 2001, for a game which ended in a 0-0 draw. The Pilgrims' second longest away trip next season will be to Morecambe (660), followed by Fleetwood Town (651), the 2011/12 Conference champions, who will be competing in the Football League for the first time. Fleetwood is a seaside resort on Lancashire's Fylde coast, a few miles to the north of Blackpool. Away games against Bradford City (650) and Accrington Stanley (626) also involve round trips of 600 miles-plus. Argyle are set to make first visits to two grounds – against Chesterfield (553), who were relegated from League One last season, and Rotherham United (580). Chesterfield have played at the B2net Stadium since the start of 2010/11, while Rotherham are moving into the soon-to-be-completed New York Stadium. Argyle's shortest trip next season will be to Torquay (68), followed by Exeter (92) and Bristol Rovers (245). Torquay will have a new 1,750-seat main stand, named Bristow's Bench, at Plainmoor. The 2012/13 Football League fixtures are set to be announced on Monday, June 18. The first round of games will be played over the weekend of August 18-19. | I wouldn't mind York this season. Never been and I could probably get away with suggesting it to the other half as a nice place for the weekend, unlike Northampton or Rotherham. |

It is a great place to stay, can I suggest the Maltings pub? Also my parents have a small cottage in North Yorkshire (left to us by my late Grandfather) we hire it out. If you are interested we can do you a deal. Lee |

What an original comment Haha ! the old ones are the best Pete. My Grandad used to say that to me in the 60's when I asked why he didn't go to bleddyargo anymore. Still rings true today. It's almost comforting that in an ever changing world, some things never change. |

Lee Very kind offer Lee, much appreciated, but we have a campervan as we're just poor working class peasants. |
