Big Leicester City fans as I recall. Their first album was a corker, but they're a bit same as lots of other bands now.

So the rumours are true. Pizzorno can lob seamen from 12 yards (snigger).

Here's Sherringham taking out Gordon Ramsey...

There's got to be something personal in that challenge.

Still not as good as Boris' bizarre challenge on a German right back in a similar charity game some years ago...

The video is amazing...

Has Teddy Sheringham made any comment about the tackle/assault on Ramsay?

Like Hairy J said, there must be some kind of bad blood between them because that was a premeditated attack not a tackle.

I know Ramsay is a bit of a knobhead, but Sheringham is a former professional footballer who probably never made a tackle during his whole career so for him to do that in a charity match is well out of order.

On a seperate note, does anyone know why I get animations and smilies on my mobile but don't on my laptop on this site?

Watching the game I'm sure Sheringham was saying to one of the other players that something had happened just before at the other end of the pitch. Was Ramsay alright?

I thought it was for a tackle Ramsey made on Paddy Mcguiness before. Paddy got booked for kicking the ball at him after Ramsey had thrown it and hit him on the back.

He stayed overnight in hospital but was released today. I've looked and can't find any apology or statement from Sheringham, which makes it all a bit too cowardly for my liking. If it was retaliation for an earlier foul by Ramsay, then it more than paid him back. I never watched the game so I don't know if Ramsay had started it.
