| Last night during the Blackburn v Wigan game, Steve Keane was subjected to extreme personal abuse, tennis balls with "Keane out" written on them were constantly thrown onto the pitch, requiring him to be escorted down the tunnel by a security guard on the final whistle due to the risk of him being physically assaulted, by sections of the home crowd that were described by the radio commentary as "out of control" and very angry. All this to the scenario of Venky's the Indian owners seemingly having very little understanding of English football or a desire to listen to or communicate with the fanbase, in fact they were absent last night for such an important must win game. Blackburn's demise would seem to be symptomatic of a once proud stable family run club ruined by negligent foreign owners and poor financial control and management. |

I wouldn't call it 'out of control'. There were about 20 or so on the pitch and they seemed to fade away pretty quickly. Kean didn't help the situation by insisting on staying on the touchline after the 90 minutes, when it was obvious there was a lot of bad feeling towards him. He could have done all the hand-shaking in the tunnel, but in the end had to be dragged away by the stewards. |

| Strange situation- Venkys came in trying to buy Beckham and Ronaldinho and end up signing Bradley Orr and Anthony Modeste. The chanting against Keen is unacceptable, but this is the fault of the owners who appointed a coach (on the cheap) and got rid of Big Sam and his assistant (not that I'm a fan of Allardyce).
A workmate is a ST holder at Blackburn and his (early bird) ST is £202. This applied to either Prem or CHampionship season. I think he is also entitled to a pie and pint as well! |

| A lot more to it than meets the eye, there.
Kean's appointment and his relationship with Venky's is very murky to say the least. The dealings of Kean's agent Jerome Anderson and Venky's is, again, highly suspicious. Venkys sack mid table Allardyce employ Kean because he is Jerome's man. Despite Kean nearly relegating them they give Kean free range to sign whoever he wants and tell him he need report to no-one (not even the Blackburn board). Kean signs shit players who are coincidentally represented by Anderson, who gets a whopping fee himself. After another 12 months of inept results and despite mass supporter protests, Kean gets them relegated and yet is told he is safe in his job! I'm not sure if it quite comes under money-laundering, but it is very very queer up there. Like at Argyle, the conflicts between the 'local' board and the abroad board was there too.
After his record not just this season but during over half of last season as well, and the repeated calls for him to be removed, I'd be angry if I were a Blackburn fan, too. If anything, it could have been a lot nastier.
The chicken was a great touch. |

| Depends on your point of view doesn't it?
The title of the thread could refer to either the shenanigans of the owners and management of the club, or the fans reaction to it.
One could even draw a parallel with PAFC and compare the state Argyle were in when relegated from the CCC and Blackburn Rovers at present-certainly both heading towards financial meltdown.
Who wouldn't relish the chance to lob few tennis balls at Stapes, Todd & SRG?
At least some of the Blackburn fans are showing their discontent, unlike the sheep at Home Park. |

| Bit of pash that's all, this is what the game is all about, the OPer must be one of the plastic sanitised generation which is pussyfying our once great game, Keane and his mates are well dodge Glasgae Scallies, a bit of verbals will be water off a duck's, he won't be on his bike because him and his 'friend' actually own the club, Venkys is just a front. |

| On radio 5 last night they were saying Keane goes to India monthly to make a report, and we think things were strange down here at Home Park. |

A case in point being the signing of one 'Myles Anderson'. A 21 year old signed after playing in only one game for Aberdeen, who prior to that had been at Leyton Orient without playing a game. Since signing he has not got close to the first team, however he is Jerome Anderson's son. |

| Yeah, decent example. The one I was thinking of was the spanish chap who they paid the club £300k for... ...the agent got £1.7m. |

| I did find it very funny with 2 blackburn players trying to catch a chicken on the touchline and then hand it to the stewards |

That might answer why Kean has been told his job is safe after they got relegated, and why the Deputy CEO has just been sacked for leaking a letter that he sent to Venky's advising them that if Kean wasn't sacked they would be relegated. Before getting the Blackburn job he had only ever really been part of Chris Coleman's backroom staff wherever he went. It is all a bit strange I must admit. |

Reminds me of someone else, except of course that Blackburn did actually win something and they finished more than two points clear of relegation into the Conference. |
