Has there ever been a published official audit of all the monies donated to the staff (and other causes) that were sent directly to Ian Newell's bank account or given to him in cash?

How would we know? Try asking him.

Judging by his meticulous filing of other things, I would have thought so. Are you suggesting any wrongdoing Mike?

I mean, 1 football club, 7 directors, 17m in debt, 1 Ridsdale, 4 stands, 1.6m pounds, 250k locals, 1 hotel chain, 1 sergeant-major acting as general.

I could also never trust someone who has the criminal mindset to order a viral hacking of someone else's email account.

I understand your point of view, but you won't get an answer to your questions here. I know Ian was scrupulous in posting screenshots of his paypal account in the early days of collecting money for the staff, but what subsequently happened I couldn't tell you. I will say that Ian Newell, for all his faults, has raised a huge amount for the unpaid satff, and if you're trying to suggest some sort of impropriety on his part, you're way wide of the mark.

I would agree with this. Even I am not doubting his fund raising efforts and his honesty in handling money.
