Just looked at the BSP table to see that Darlington have been relegated to whatever is below the BSP (BS North??). Had no idea they were so far in the shit. Really don't think they'll ever be a league club again.

To be fair, their footballing potential was (is) no worse than Wigans was not so long ago. If that nutter Reynolds had backed them the same as Whelan backed Wigan, they could well have done the same.

I could never understand why they built that stadium. The capacity was huge for them, but there was a planning restriction that meant they weren't allowed to let more than 10,000 in? Surely this was made clear when the original plans were submitted?

It's going to take a miracle for them to survive now, or James Brent to fancy a hotel in Durham.
