| There is much comment and debate on this site about whether Fletcher should remain manager,or if Brent will fund a rebuilding of the team to secure promotion next season. On Monday morning this week I listened to James Brent on radio Devon and heard him say Fletcher is the man to lead the club to success and that Argyle can start next season with a "clean sheet" and that although he has "never been reckless with money" Argyle would have one of the largest wage bills in league 2 as we should be back in the Championship. So the question is fellow Green Army -do we believe it? |

| I'm starting to warm but as always, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. |

No. I don't think Fletcher is the man for the job. But I can understand why he will be given the chance. There are a few signs that he could be a good manager, but whether or not he will be a good manager for Argyle is another matter. I think that if we have a poor start to next season we will see a change in manager quite quickly. |

| I think we will find out in June, Ins and Outs will be interesting, if we can attract guys like Dickinson down here as we did last season and keep them this time then I am green tinted enough to believe next season maybe a success. It is after all the easiest division in theory to get out of.

| I think Fletch deserves a chance to show what he can do with a clean slate and a full pre-season behind him.

Fletcher can be rightly satisfied with keeping us up, and as far as the defence goes, we've improved massively. Thumbs up for that. I'd just be far happier if we'd got an O'Driscoll type fella in, who's got the type of experience and contacts that would make getting out of this league a lot easier. |

| I think a lot of Argyle supporters have been down the line of believing without seeing previously so it is unlikely many will be enthusiastic to sound bites. I agree with GOB in that the proof of the pudding etc.
The question of Fletcher is being addressed on another thread and I would hate to upset and send to sleep Tringreen by repeating my opinion on that. Will just say answer is similar to one above reference Brent. |
