I think the integrity of Pasoti is a very important question in view of the way Pasoti was used to whip up support for someone's preferred bidder in buying the club.

It's been very clear over the last twelve months that Pasoti consists of a few vociferous self proclaimed leaders, and many followers who blindly believe the lines they are being feed.

All through the Administration process, Pasoti was used to advance the views of a few people who all seemed to favour a single outcome for the club, without any reasons or logic for their choice being presented (when you get down to it, what were the substantive differences between Heaney's & Brent's offers and visions for the club?)
One of the "usual suspects" would post an adverse comment about one bidder, or a comment favourable to another bidder and these posts would immediately be backed up by posts from the rest of the "gang" and hey presto, a few posts saying Heaney's a scoundrel and Brenty's a real genuine guy and the majority of sheep on the farm start believing the lines they are being fed, without realising they are being manipulated all along the line. From there it was a small step to mass meetings, protest marches, sit-ins etc. etc. that all lead to one conclusion-someone with no previous interest in football, was able to buy a football club for free on the back of a property deal that could well be described as a "nice little earner" while the rules on paying the football creditors were bent to breaking point (funny how some people only want to play by the "rules" when it suits them) and the business plan to back up the deal required a "leap of faith" by the authorities to allow it to go ahead.

Anyone who doubts that Pasoti can influence opinion just needs to reflect on how many people seem prepared to believe Ian Newell rather than Brendan Guilfoyle over weather prospective bidders were "discouraged" by internet opposition.

Make no mistake about it, the campaign run on Pasoti, paved the way for the public support for the way the Club came out of Administration, and the continued support of the way the club is currently being run.

The fact that people with influence on Pasoti (and in some cases within the Club) are willing to deliberately mislead the vast majority and lie about anyone with a contrary view should be a serious concern to all true fans of the club.

The same goes for the reply that was sent. If it wasn't Mr President who sent the reply, then who was it? Have you tried sending Chris a message asking him his take on it all?
