Young goalkeeper Zak Baker is joining Plymouth Parkway on loan.
The 19-year-old, who in April signed a new one-year deal to remain a Pilgrim, will head across the Manadon roundabout to gain some more playing experience with our city neighbours.
Redruth-born Zak spent time on loan last season at Tiverton Town, for whom he played nearly 30 games. The loan at part-time side Parkway will allow Baker to train with Argyle for much of the week and link up with Parkway for training sessions and matches.
Parkway play in the Southern League Premier Division South, and are gearing up for their new season, with manager Chris McPhee having taken over at Bolitho Park in the summer. The Parkway squad includes a large number of former Argyle young pros and apprentices.
