Can't honestly see us getting much from this one although Boro don't have a great home record, would have been much more confident a couple of weeks ago.
3-1

Too scared to look at the scores. Wouldn't be surprised if we're 1 down already.
Fozzie out!

Time to stop pretending that any of us know feck all about football. All credit to Ian Foster and the team though, fantastic win and performance by the sound of it-22 shots,11 on target to 11/0 for Boro and shows how meaningless possession stats are. Good job they did win though because most of the other strugglers won except Stoke who move into the bottom 3.Great day all round.

Massive credit to foster and the boys for bouncing back today, the perfect away performance with everyone doing their bit. He took a lot of shit on Tuesday and probably deservedly so but deserves equal praise tonight. Bit of a shame that most of the teams around us also won with some crazy results elsewhere but we can only control our own destiny. Chinese and a beer methinks.

Boro were arguably as bad today as we were on Tuesday night. They were truly abysmal. Genuinely could have been 0-4 or 0-5 with the chances we created and missed.
Whittaker aside, the biggest surprise this season has been how well Houghton has eased into Championship football. Foster seemed like he didn’t fancy him, but he needs to play if we are to keep a relative distance between us and the bottom 3.
An unexpected 3points which goes some way to righting some wrongs from the last 3 home games.

Thats the perfect response to tuesday night i must say. Much needed win at a tough place to go and get a result and keeping a clean sheet is an added bonus. I will look forward to watching the highlights later on
we got a tough game coming up at home against Ipswich on the 2nd March so getting these 3 points more so will be important and will keep us clear of Stoke.

Unbelievable result given how completely dogshit we were last Tuesday. Glad to see the right response from Foster and the team. Not convinced about Foster though. Still cannot get over just how bad we were against West Brom. Need to today's level of response against Ipswich too.

Much needed result! Noticed that Foster bought back in 4 of the more experienced players (Houghton, Pleggie, Miller & Sorinola) to replace some of the teenagers (Philips, Sousa, Devine). Hopefully the penny is starting to drop with him that you can't win much in this league with a team of 19 year olds! Not saying the aforementioned players aren't good prospects, but you need a backbone of experience in a squad.
