| Knowing us with our luck it wouldn’t surprise me one bit sheff wed got there first win of the season ..but saying that we surely have enough to turn em over there been dreadful Wednesday even worse than us hopefully we can halt this slide down the table and stabilise a position somewhere between middle of the table & the arse end of the table there’s No easy games in this league but we should have enough tonight though halt the slide and back to winning ways !….Us 3-1 |

| Hopefully their new manager hasn’t got them firing properly yet. I know it’s not the modern thing to do but I’d put someone on Bannan, man on man, the whole game. He is their difference maker. |

| Predicted a very optimistic 2-2 on Forecasting League but now have a very very bad feeling as the hour draws near. Can't help thinking it will be another night of missed chances, defensive mistakes, endlessly giving the ball away, being hit on the counter and completely running out of ideas when we go behind. A repeat of the Millwall and Swansea horror shows. |

| We've played better that that this season and lost. Funny old game as someone once said. Went in at half time 2 up with Weds having a lot more of the game but never looking dangerous.
Cracking free kick from Bundu, can't remember the last time we scored from a free kick, it was a stormer, closely followed by a gift to Whittaker who kept his cool admirably.
We were much better 2nd half, always looked in control. and no surprise when Hardie got the third after being set up by Azaz.
It was a strange game, Weds set up to deny us space in the midfield and it worked for 40 mins, we didn't play with our normal pace and movement, but the free kick and the defensive howler gave us the game.
Good 3 points though. |

| Proper lethargic performance 1st half. Against a better team we’d have been behind, yet we go in 2-0 up at the break. Corker of a free kick from Bundu. Didn’t get a good view of Whittakers but a trademark Hardie finish would have done his confidence the world of good.
Wednesday look doomed tbh. They were well on top first half yet couldn’t make their dominance count for anything. Then they just ran out of ideas 2nd half.
On to Saturday now, and tbh anything other than a good tonking up there will be a bonus.

| Wednesday boss Danny Rohl on defeat by Argyle
It is hard to speak about this, as we started well and controlled the game in the first 25, 30 minutes. We had a lot of high ball winning situations, we created chances and had a good chance at the far post and then we got a bit unlucky. It was a great free-kick and we then made a second mistake. We thought if we scored the next goal, we could get back in the game. We tried everything and conceded the third goal and the match is done. |

| Argo were dreadful for the first 40 minutes of the first half. Very concerning performance. Then Bundu's wonder strike quickly followed by Whittaker capitalising on a defensive howler - suddenly and unbelievably Argo 2-0 up. Second half some improvement from Argo and another goal looked likely and it duly came when (I think) Azaz set up Hardie who took his chance well to make it 3.
Much needed win because we're clearly not getting anything from the next 3 games |

| Not a great first half but even then Argyle came closer than Wednesday did for all their pressing and decent passing up to the last third-Whittaker continued his almost supernatural knack of hitting the woodwork and Bundu somehow managed to head a chance away from goal after a good free kick move. Argyle's passing and first touch was off key but the match totally changed when Whittaker was brought down and Bundu thundered the free kick into the top corner. Whittaker then seized on a horrendous rickets by their number 6 to give Argyle an unlikely 2-0 lead at HT. Essentially Argyle cruised the second half and Wednesday descended into true woefullness, Hardie put the seal on the win with an accurate finish after Azaz set him up-three very valuable points but improvement will be needed against some of the better sides who are visiting in the coming weeks. |

| Also I think Cooper last night proved that perhaps he’s not quite the squillions of pounds GK, not one of his better displays, hopefully a bit ring rusty |

I just don't like this pissing around at the back-it nearly cost Argyle very dearly last night and on Saturday. Not saying that aimlessly booting it up the field is the way to go-if a throw to someone in a good position is on then brilliant but there are times when practicality needs to take over. No disrespect to anyone but Beckenbauer and Baresi aren't currently occupying the Argyle centre back positions-you can't play like Pep if the material doesn't match. As for Cooper, there was a lot of gun jumping after Saturday's game when by all accounts he had very little to do. The bloke has just come back from a very serious injury and has to prove to himself as well as the fans that he has made a complete recovery. He improved in the second half last night, hopefully that will be an encouragement for him in getting back to absolute match sharpness, might be needed on Saturday. |
