| As most of you are aware Ian has graciously invited us all to the Pasoti Summer Party, to "Meet fellow Pasoti'ites" http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=55474 Obviously that rules out all of you who are banned from Pasoti or have no longer have accounts But I will take this invite in the way I hope it is intended. Ian is offering the hand of friendship in the hope that we can all put our differences and squabbles to one side. At the end of the day we all support the same team (Argyle). I have always believed that talking face to face will resolve most of our differences. Who knows, Tring and Ian may realise they share a love of pipe smoking, Ricks and Ponty share an interest in Emperor Penguins and Daz and Gob are both avid readers of Tolstoy. Our problems could be a thing of the past over a beer, burger and a sing song. But with regret I don't think that I am going to be able to make it. Sadly I am getting married in a few weeks and all energies are being put towards that. And even a bone head like me realises that saying to the future wife "Sorry I am going away for the weekend to meet some men from the internet" is not the best way to start married life. As way of recompense I fully intend to meet up with my fellow Argyle fans the next time I am in Plymouth (and safely married). And I am sure that Ian will understand that it is a bit of a trek for all of the exiles on here (bearing in mind that they have struggled to attract interest from Pasoti'ites in Plymouth). However, there is also a cynical side of me that wonders if this is all a bit of spin on the part of Mr Newell. He knows full well that is is very unlikely that anyone from ATD will attend tonight. I have talked previously of meeting up and talking but on each occasion it has been "spun" by the other side that we were forming gangs and coming down for a fight. Why the sudden change of heart? A desperate attempt to sell tickets or was he spooked by the sudden influx of Pasoti posters joining our outlaw crew yesterday? If I may stay in cynical mode for a moment I do wonder if next week we will hear cries of us "bottling it" or being "keyboard warriors" due to our non attendence. If that is the case then I will refer Pasoti'ites to the following: - Ponty wrote:

Nonce.
Keyboard warrior when you over next?? Bring Blade, Gob, Frank and your dinner.
I'll book you a table at the Fans Fest, tell me when you're coming, let's get it on.
I can't wait to see so many arses drop out.
No retraction or explanation has been made by Ponty. I still don't know if he intends to physically assault me when we meet. Whilst not being too concerned about getting a kicking from a middle aged lorry driver I do have wedding photos to think of and a crooked nose or black eye won't go down too well. The sharp eyed amongst you will realise that it is an invite to a fans fest and not the summer party anyway. In the interests of the peace process I will leave this post here and not put it on Pasoti. We all know that Ian will read it anyway and I don't see the need to stir things up over there unnecessarily. |

| Can't they get enough Pasoti'ites, Trust members and Taverners to fill the venue ? Something doesn't sound right here. I thought that together they were an irresistable force............ or could it be something deeper ? I'll be in residence at Tring Park Cricket Club from the end of July til 22nd August. Anyone passing by is welcome to look me up. I'll buy the beer. Ere....anyone remember before they banned me on Pasoti, I promised to walk from Tring to HP and buy any Pasoti member a pint and a pasty , if the club ever achieved top flight status with Stapleton involved ? Tony Cholwell and I think Lostwithiel Green bought in. Everyone else said they'd prefer to drink piss than have a pint on me. Are these really the sort of people I'd enjoy socialising with ? Still waiting for the 'sorry Tringy, we should have listened'. |

| Been there, done it and got the tee shirt Frank. Met him a short while back and we got on well enough to have a natter and share a few thoughts on the club that were a million miles apart, at that time IJN was still firmly in the Stapes camp and Todd was a genuine fan "I can see it in his eyes".
Our views on how a forum should be run are also light years apart but I thought we agreed enough to become more amicable, especially after he provided Graham Clark with my phone number so a united fans front could be obtained on a pasoti Trust forum. Of course, that was just a short while before he pulled the plug on users that were not pasoti members on the Trust forum and gained control over the old Argyle Talk site forcing it to close despite many of us making a financial commitment towards the cost of the site.
He didn't agree with our views so he banned us from PASOTI forcing to use our own little site. Then he gained access to that site and our personal details and caused enough mayhem to eventually close that site. He's stalked members from site to site slurring them with innuendo that has gone way beyond a "bit of banter".
But, as has been said many times, he and anyone else is welcome to use this site, comment on PASOTI, join PASOTI, use as many sites as they want and post what they want within the realms of the law and libel etc. But I think it says it all that that the name of this site cannot be mentioned, this site cannot be discussed and PASOTI members are firmly discouraged not to register with this site to the point where PASOTI members are registering using different user names to their PASOTI user names. What does that tell people?
The hand is always open, we're all Greens at the end of the day, but we forget the the past at our peril. I was daft enough to to suckered a couple of times, it won't happen a third.
As for Ponty's threat, well he made himself look a bit silly, will anyone take the guy seriously now? I'll probably meet him one day and will offer a handshake as us middle aged types do, then I'll look him in the eye and probably laugh, no matter how big he is. I won't be attending the summer party though, I'm doing my hair! |

Two. Unfortunately one of them is seeing a Torquay fan. He is invited to the wedding and I have put him on a table full of Argyle fans. I still won't allow him in the house. |

| Obvious teaching skills! I see in the past 24 hours the party's swelling with Cobi, IJN, and TinTin, some party eh! Not that there's anything against young Cobi or Tittin, but well.... If he hadn't made it yet another indirect attempt to slur us he may have got somewhere but the world can see It's just like the last indirect rant at us that gained the massive support of three pasoti mods and fell flat on its face! He's not obsessed you know! |

| I'm not impressed at all. Virtually no tickets sold bar the usual ten or twenty suspects... they're afraid it'll bomb .. no more than 40 paying attendees. ( do the green taverners get a £1 discount ? ). Hence moving to the 'cosy' business lounge .... and as for the invites, I've heard there are snatch squads in Outland Road tonight... even our pussy got propositioned. Any reference to Argyle Talk is irrelevant and just the same old gig. I have never seen why there should have been such a problem with fans who don't follow the party line ... all clubs have internet sites where people will have differing views. The culture of bullying has been a real shame and many old and original Pasoti posters I know personally got fed up many moons ago.
I can only guess that it has something to do with the emotional culture of those now charged with running the site. I don't think anybody would be sorry if their site tried to start afresh with an amnesty for all, but that is not on offer.... it's just a calculated nib of nonsense, and just another josh. In any case, it isn't just those fans banned that have a problem, and any change would not influence my decision to stop sharing thoughts on there. I just can't be doing with the general dumbed down happy clappy thing anymore ... it's so depressing, so limiting.
One other thing. We all know tastes in life differ, so to infer people who refuse invites are this or that, or avoiding other folk is pure nonsense ... for me, I just dont like the 'menu' on offer' at one of these events... full stop. To suggest otherwise is just more of the childish playground nature of certain rather unfortunate people. Millions of people refuse invites every day. |

| Another issue is the fact there's this socialising with "those in power", the face to face "talk" influences people as we've seen recently regarding certain members, certain Trust members and Ridsdlale that have now been turned on their head again. People in power should be judged over their actions and not the fact that they've bull shitted people in the Business Lounge, The Brit or anywhere else.
There's been amnesty's before, the result of that was, to in effect, ban members from having an opinion on the Trust and the abuse of the old Argyle Talk site. Not that there's any need for an amnesty, Ponty is welcome here as is anyone else so all this talk is about what exactly, everyone is going to be reinstated to PASOTI? The Trust Forum is open to all? The innuendo will stop? The Green Taveners want to to post on here? What, what's it all mean? - Words are cheap as we've found out, so what's the method behind the word?
As has been said on many occasions, this site exist because, and only because, of the behavior of one or two PASOTI moderators. ALL Argyle fans deserve a right to free expression at this time more then ever, this is the only Argyle fan related site that fulfills that criteria at the moment.
An amnesty = ? |

| In all this, it has to be remembered that Napoleon has promised to deliver a compliant online fanbase. If he cannot do that, what use is he....he has no value. Ridsdale's tactics and methods have rubbed off on him... he's become a firefighter, a deliverer of product, while unconciously channeling any nascent anti money men tribal loyalties into an impotent cul de sac. He's not offering anything but something you want Gob ... he doesn't mean it inside .. he's working people ... he's proud of his amateur night psychology. Personally I don't think I dislike the person, but I certainly do not like what he represents and tries to bring into physical existence. A good job he not that good at it. Sorry, just my opinion of what's going down at this present time. |

A predictable indication of the emotional culture of the farm is Ponty's weak efforts at a truce. He doesn't want a truce. He just wants to stop members leaving Pasoti while refusing to answer questions on reinstating those wrongly banned in the past and providing an open and vibrant forum. If they are not careful, forums like this one might become a little more than an itch they can't scratch. |

| At a time when the whole establishment at Argyle has been shown to be a bunch of crooks and creeps, Pasoti was found in bed with them and it's trousers down.
No matter how hard they try to scrub off the dirt, many fans who use the internet know how strongly the Pasoti leadership supported these people. There's not much that can be done about that.... even the 'staff fund' is turning to bite them, as some of us warned them it would.

| My Brother (who rarely posts on Pasoti) went and said there were a few people there, but it wasn't overly busy. He said Errington was there and entertainment was given by Dave Banana and Rick O'Shea (I don't reall know much about them except that God Awful song played over the tannoy)- he said RO'S was quite funny. If anyone wants me to resign from ATD, due to this shame, I'll gladly oblige |
