Good game that, Lincoln are no mugs at home, we did well to hang on for a point, could have been all 3 had Ennis not missed a sitter.
Having said that, Cooper made a couple of brilliant saves second half, and there were plenty of blocks made by the defenders.
Hard fought point, one that we just about deserved.

we must have been the only club not to do anything for remembrance day this year :O no poppy on the shirt not even the minutes silence at the city game (our last home game) nothing. poor show from the club again as this isnt the first time they have done this.
anyways a point isnt to be sniffed at here as i said already hoping Mayor is back in contention for Burton.

Not bad at all. Lincoln were never going to be a pushover and Argyle are there to be shot at these days, so take it and on to the next one. Burton won't be easy either but i have a feeling that Argyle can get a result there and if that comes to pass then it'll have been a very decent mini tour with a home game or two to come and hopefully the squad getting stronger.

If Lincoln had strikers that could finish, the game would have been over by half time. There was one open goal that will go down as one of the misses of the season. Clearly that’s why they are where they are in the league, they draw far too many, because their approach play was decent.
Isn’t a bad point in the end tho with Ipswich P’boro and Pompey all dropping points against lesser teams.

Wonder if we should be looking at Exeter's squad for January, beat Peterborough 3 2 so for a "lesser team" they aren't doing too bad.

Hallett said he's flying over but he's waiting for Wednesday when Ryanair tickets are at least twenty quid cheaper than on the weekend.

Still 4pts clear so day ok, but becoming more obvious that Hallett and his USA chums need to get their purse out to reach the hallowed second tier.

this is where Hallett may start to loose the fans if he doesnt back Schuey in january especially when the fans know there is money in the accounts that he can allocate for 2-3 players. Im not saying he has to hand over £6m at all a small percentage of that would be enough to do what we need to do in January. If he doesnt do that and we start to drop the fans are not going to be happy and wont be so forgiving as they where at the end of last season when the same thing happened that we want to avoid now.

If we're still in around the auto places or play-off spots in January I can't see us making any permanent signings that involve a transfer fee. Any such signings would need to be Championship standard and they simply won't be available or if they were will be way out of Hallett's price range. He said a while back none of that US investment money will be used for players. Any strengthening will be one or two loans again. If we did go up (and I really don't think we will) we would start preparations for the 23/24 Championship season with only half a team and little real Championship quality. We are really not set up for promotion..

we will be able to bring in players if this recruitment stat thing that the club uses along with the head of recruitment in uncovering a couple that could really add the depth we need. We do not need to go mad in january so many signings arent needed but 2-3 are and if we fall from grace between then and the last game of the season again like we did last season again the fans arent going to give 2 shits and a flying feck about what hallet says about the new yankee consortium investing in property of argyle when the team needs funding.
Big month a head for the club.

They have gotta invest i for one don’t think the fans are silly enough to stand for it again not investing or ARE They that is the question ? The extra increase of season ticket holders they have already mislead/duped once with markee signings & promises of really going for it The trouble is wernt maxed out on loans for starters the odd one will be replaced like for like due to injuries….So the only other option is paying transfer fees for a couple of players which the new holy one & his board are not that keen to do as we’d have got a more decent budget at the start of the season So what we will see in the next couple of months if sigh & his American chums are serious in getting them couple of players in for Shoe E for that final push or it’s gunna more plastic seats jumbotrons eco car park instead ..over to you sigh the American investment company guy & chums

I don't get that we aren't "set up for the CCC" and by now we should be. True it was obviously not planned for this season or the f was then someone should be sacked but there are about five teams at least that are "setup for the CCC" ie, SW, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Derby, Peterborough and they are below us in the table at the moment. What you do have to do is take your chances when you get them and this season we have a real chance. I am never going to get tired of saying this but if we had kept Pan the Azaz injury wouldn't have been half as worrying.

You know the guy we sold for £500k when we have upwards of £10m sloshing around in the clubs coffers who scored on his debut for our main rivals on his debut. The spin that he didn't want to be here is bollocks, we could have chucked him an extra 2k a week and let him go at the end of the season and if we had been promoted (which is much more likely with him in the squad) he would probably stay with us next season anyway and we still would have had £10m plus in the accounts for spending on pitches. Penny wise pound foolish as always.

well if the majority of that £500,000 wasnt put in the transfer kitty then i want to know why? i wont accept the ready made excuse of the upcoming budget and cost of living crisis as an excuse when we have cash reserves.

I think it's time to move on guys, Argo are doing ok without him (at the moment), he was one of the better players over the last couple of seasons, sometimes very exciting to watch. But he's gone hey ho.

i was over camara leaving during the summer, i felt we did well to get £500,000 for a guy injured and out of contract in the summer who didnt want to stay here. Plus i dont see how he would have fitted in to our new system concerning the midfield as he doesnt play the way randall/houghton or butcher do who are doing well in the middle. We need a central midfielder who can do the role of those 3 Camara wasnt that guy despite being very good in the previous system. Its a shame he wanted out i dont believe he would have signed the deal in the end given how well we are doing so get what we can rather than let he go for 0.
Doesnt stop me saying his fee the majority of it should be in the transfer budget for jan

We should be looking to sign up some of the loanees first.
With Wolves and Villa changing Managers and apparently looking to sign some big names, we should snap up their fringe players.

other than one at a push (Cosgrove) we cant afford the others and neither would they want to come here permanently when they can play at a higher level. We should enjoy them now while they are here. Hopefully next season we arent so reliant on loan signings
