exactly bhey spot on, selling pan for a pittance to a rival was a bad mistake in my opinion, as was not spending game changing money on a quality striker, but hey the happy clappers know best.

Just got back from my usual standard Saturday round robin of Prince of Wales - Princetown, The Royal Oak - Meavy, The Burrator Inn, Dousland, The Walkhampton inn, Walkhampton, full of Jail Ale, Avocet and General cider, to see a most splendiferous away victorious outing at Derby. Most splendid. Most splendid indeed. Life feels good again, for now! Hic!

What a comeback that was. Some calamitous passing and defending led to nearly all the goals, very fine margins to win games at this level nowadays. Cosgrove was in exactly the right place for his first and great pass by Ennis although he did look a foot offside, his second goal was quality, showed pace and power, lets hope he keeps it up.

Thanks TG, first Cosgrove goal looks offside, second was a class finish.

Nowhere near offside when the cross/shot was actually played

I like Schuey, he was the cheap option, which no doubt the twitterati pointed out at the time but he should have quietened his critics by now. As for Cosgrove I was underwhelmed by his signing and if he carries on like he started then he could well be the twenty goal plus striker we are looking for but we will not have a snowballs chance in hell of signing him on a perm at seasons end if he does.

Fantastic day out, bit lairy before and after and a bit of arse to leave but what a result.
Shouldn’t really have been 2 down and for the first 10 of the second half we were dreadful, a bit of a lucky drop to Whittaker (not sure of him) and some inspired subs and there was only one winner. Derby were poor really, useful up top but not else.
Their fans were class, very complimentary and create a great atmosphere

Their first goal was an almost exact replica of Argyle's winner against Pompey at HP last season, shows the value of pressing the ball in the opposition half i suppose. Hope Argyle don't fall foul of it too much this season, the style have play won't have gone unnoticed by opposition management.

Truly great result and a worthy 3 points. Even the Derby manager was full of praise for Shuey and Argyle.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a more gushing interview from a rival manager. It was as if he was doing a full on charm offensive interview for any potential future vacant position with us.
