| Midfielder Danny Mayor is set to give Plymouth Argyle a fitness boost for their away League One game against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Manager Steven Schumacher has revealed that Mayor is feeling 'a lot better' after missing the last two matches due to a back problem.
Mayor was set to take part in training this afternoon (Thursday) as the Pilgrims began preparing for their visit to South Yorkshire.
They did not train this morning as usual after returning from their dramatic 3-3 draw away to Fleetwood Town in the early hours of Wednesday.
Top scorer Ryan Hardie and midfielder Jordan Houghton are also likely to return to the squad for the game against bottom club Doncaster.
Schumacher said: "Danny was in yesterday with (physio) Dave Galley and has had no reaction. He feels a lot better so hopefully he can get out on the grass and do some training today, and we will see how he is.
"Ryan Hardie and Jordan Houghton should be available so it's pretty much a full squad to pick from."
That is likely to include defender Macaulay Gillesphey, even though he was substituted in the second half of the game against Fleetwood with what was thought at the time to be a hamstring injury.
Schumacher said: "It's a bit of a strange one. He came off on Tuesday because he felt a little twinge in his hamstring but pretty much after the game it wasn't too bad.
"It's not a hamstring tear or a strain, which is great. We will see how he looks today but, fingers crossed, it was just maybe a spasm or whatever and it's nothing too serious."
Gillesphey had been recalled to start the game against Fleetwood at the expense of Romoney Crichlow, the recent loan signing from Huddersfield Town.
Meanwhile, Doncaster have announced the loan signing of 19-year-old striker Mipo Odubeko from West Ham United today, which follows the addition of experienced midfielder Adam Clayton earlier this week.

| Always worried at playing relegation threatened teams after Xmas, especially one bottom of the table, and I see Donny won last time out. I'm going for an Argo win but we need to play better than we did against Fleetwood for sure. Tricky game tomorrow. COYG

| I think Donny are going down and we will help them on their way. Easy 0 2. |

| Donny are no mugs. They beat MK Dons away last week so maybe it's the start of a run of good results for them. Today will be very tough for Argo especially as we only play 45 minutes and/or stop playing completely in the last few minutes if we're level or ahead. Argo's nose dive down the table to continue. |
