Scott Wootton

Defender Scott Wootton's contract with Morecambe has been terminated at the request of the player and his agent.

The 30-year-old made 14 appearances for the Shrimps and scored one goal in a 2-0 victory over Lincoln City in Sky Bet League One.

Speaking of Wootton's departure, manager Stephen Robinson said: "Scott leaves with our thanks for all his efforts during his time at the club and our best wishes for what promises to be a life-changing move for him and his family."

We would like to place on record our thanks to Scott for all his efforts during his spell with the Club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
