| I've been accused by one of the Mods of not talking about Argyle enough, kind of ironic on this website, anyway, who should be the strike partnership for the game against Bristol Rovers.
Chadwick looks off form so I would go with Tsoumou. MacDonald has recovered from illness and by all accounts he was lively as a second half sub against Shrewsbury (I couldn't make that game).
So I would go for Tsoumou and MacDonald for the game tonight.
Anyone else? |

| I agree Tsoumou and MacDonald. When I attended the match, on Saturday, with REAL friends I felt the same about Chadders in that he did little positive (Feeney was better though). |

Anyone else? Always the problem with a true Aviva. The bigger picture gets ignored. Trust in Stapes Tringy ! You are too much hard work. You wouldn't believe the amount of pm's we mods have to deal with complaining about your predictions ! Enjoy the ride ! Once again, who are ya Greenman, or is that too real for you ?

| I'd start with Chadders & Feeney up front with MacD out wide...
Too much defensiveness of late...
Sumo as an impact sub when Chadders gets knackered.

| Oh well, I predicted the front two correct.
Not a good game, another team that is fitter than us, two points dropped I reckon.
What say you all? |

| A point was more than we deserved, we mugged them. |

What say you all? All of our strikers are uninspiringly mundane. I'd play 3 of them to make things remotely interesting. |

| After Saturday's results, a draw wasn't bad. We were outplayed by a team that were as poor as us a couple of months ago so changed their manager. I don't know how much Mark Mcgee would be paid, but whatever it is has saved Rovers from possible relegation to the BSP which is disastrous financially. We always hear that so and so wouldn't want to manage in League 2 or as far South, yet Bristol Rovers managed to attract a decent manager. He has totally transformed their season and they would be play-off contenders if the season was slightly longer.
So it was another set of half decent results for us with no ground lost due to a late goal and now it's on to Northampton for a massive game where a home win would put them 7 points ahead of us with a game in hand, so pretty much safe. A win for us drags them back into the scrap. Bradford are at home to Gillingham and if they were to win and we do lose, they would be 6 points ahead with a game in hand. Barnet play Macclesfield on Friday night, and they are 2 points ahead of us with a game in hand, so again if Barnet win, we could find ourselves in a much worse situation where it would almost certainly be any 2 from 4 going down! 50/50 chance with 7 games to go, of which the last 4 are tricky to say the least.
So 4 points from our two home games has been good, but only if we can pick something up at Northampton, who have won 6 of their last 9 games, which shows the huge difference between scraping draws and actually winning games. In the last 10 games, we have only lost twice and they have lost three times, but they have picked up 19 points and we have picked up 10. Massive difference. Oh and of course they were bold and changed their manager in time to make a difference. |

| I have actually accused you of not contributing to any football related threads as well, for that it appears I am wrong now, for that I apologise. Anyway I don't think it matters who we play up front at the moment all our forwards look shot shy, we force saves, we hit bar we hit post, it is so frustrating. Luckily we mugged them with a couple of defenders scoring and I as well as the crowd were happy to take a point. Until we scored you could hear a pin drop in the ground as I think the long suffering crowd were thinking "here we go again", luckily I think that this league is awash with shit teams and we will just manage to stay up by managing to be a dirty great skid mark rather than a huge pile of steaming poo. For what it is worth everybody on flashchat during a match agonises over every goal that goes against us, every result as well, we may not see eye to eye on the running or structure of the club, however we are just as green as you. |

If we are relegated, the responsibility lies solely at the feet of Brent and whoever advised him of Fletcher's errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm, y'know, credentials. |

| 4 points from 2 home games is a good return. a draw at northampton would be a decent result given their form of late. 5-3-2 may be a good idea for saturday.
barnet v macclesfield fri will be a huge game for eirther club too, lets hope they play for a draw. |

| If it was me (and I am clueless, I admit) I would go 433 against the Cobblers.
With their form of late, turning up with 11 men behind the ball is going to be a waste of time because sooner or later Walton will mis-time a back pass to Cole and they'll score.
We might as well go on the offensive and who knows, we might win. After all we are better on the road than at home.
Agree though, 4 points from the last two was more than acceptable. |

| I bet it wasn't rushing to the salad bar at Nando's.
Good news if he's out for Saturday though. He knows how to put the ball in the net. Our so-called strikers could do with putting away half the chances he does. We would be home and dry by now if they could. |

| Akinfenwa out is really good news, the bloke is a big fat handful, I had heard that he has lost a lot of weight though. |
