I will, however, endeavour to continue the two bananas a day diet, to tend my tomato plants, and to go to the Co-op and/or the post office as necessary. and eat cauliflower cheese |

| Today I have been mostly doing manual handling.
Not sure whether to have cauliflower cheese for tea now. |

That is NOT mundane, Jock. Two points off. It even hurts to type |

| Sorry, don't reply until they're better. There really is no rush. I'm just excited at the idea of commissioning a piece of artwork |

| My hands aren't hurting quite so much now.
My arms, shoulders, back, stomach muscles, legs and head are, though.
And I still didn't have cauliflower cheese for tea. |

How dispiriting is that? No news is good news, unless it's because of a power cut. |

Farewell belatedly Roy Castle
(sigh)
Terrible I know but it did make me chuckle at the time when someone asked what castle was damaged by smoke in 1992, and the answer was Roy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jzWRYr-b_Y

| One of the family history web-sites I have belonged to has just sent me a message with details of my ex-wife saying, "Are you related to this person?" |

| When you put bleach on maggots, they thrash around quite a bit before mostly dying. Then, when you pour boiling water on them, they expand to about three times their size. I know this, because I was going to do a chicken curry on monday, but when I opened the chicken breast, it was off. The smell was pretty awful, and the chicken went straight in the (outside wheelie) bin. I've gone out to the bin this afternoon, opened the lid, and was nearly knocked out by the stench. Now, I'm not expecting the smell to have got any better (since monday), but what I couldn't figure out was why, at the bottom of the bin, there were about 15-20 sizeable maggots festering there. I'm pretty sure they weren't there on Monday. I can't help but think that they were somehow already in the chicken. It was Tesco's pre-packed breast, and it wasn't out of date either. Quite frankly, the thought of handling a pre-packed breast any time soon, repulses me. |
