Always seemed to be part of the furniture in my earlier years of Argyle support, he started as secretary in the early 1960's and lasted until 1991.Published a very interesting book a few years ago which contained some fascinating stuff about the internal workings at Argyle over the decades, a very dedicated and hard working servant to the club.

RIP Graham

Wasn't he responsible for starting the Argyle lottery which apart from raising decent funds was also a pretty pioneering thing for a football club to do.

And, likewise, was Mr Argyle for me throughout my early years. I think I need to read that book.

RIP

I think he did....he used to have other clubs asking him about it......he also spent an evening at PASALB sharing his memories with us....probably late 70's or early 80's......lived and breathed Argyle.
