2⃣8⃣ And there's the opener!

Houghton feeds Conor down the left with a lovely pass.

Conor looks up, hangs one to the back post, and
Niall Ennis applies the headed finish.

42’ Goal Argyle… a powerful one from distance from Conor Grant.

The ball drops to him on the edge of the box, two touches to tee himself up, and he pings a volley home.

2 changes at the break for Argyle.

Jephcott and Grant Off Hardie and Gillesphey on

Macaulay's first touch in a green shirt is to ping a pass 40 yards to Joe on the right hand side.

0 - 3

Panutche Camara gets in on the action, receiving the ball low in the box, a smart touch past his marker, before finishing coolly.

0-4

Galloway wins it in our half, lays it to Pan who drives into Saltash territory.

He finds Niall Ennis who stabs it over the keeper.

0 - 5

A swift passing move culminates in Panutche Camara threading Hardie through, and he lifts the ball beyond the keeper for our fifth.

0 - 6

Shirley plays the striker in down the right channel, and Hardie takes a touch before dinking the ball over the 'keeper.

After the two local games Argyle steps up the pace with travel up to Bristol Rovers on Saturday before three home games against Swansea City, Middlesbrough and Bristol City, with a trip to Tavistock AFC sandwiched in between.

The Greens finish their pre-season fixtures at Plainmoor against Torquay United on Saturday 31 July.

Thats means Argyle will be playing five games in 11 days, four against Football League opposition.

Good to see a pre-season against some proper opposition at last.

Just a run out against Saltash innit. Still some useful opposition coming up, a much better arranged pre season.
