We are holding an open training session on Thursday, 29 July, with a whole host of family fun activities lined up at Home Park.
Entry is free, and the doors at the Theatre of Greens will open at 10am, with the Argyle Community Trust laying on a range of entertainment and games outside of the Devonport End, including inflatable football, pop-up volleyball, street tennis, golf putting, penalty shoot-outs, and archery.
Ryan Lowe’s Pilgrims will take to the turf at 11am for an hour-long training session, before appearing pitch-side with club mascot Pilgrim Pete to sign autographs and pose for photos with supporters (subject to COVID restrictions).
Concession kiosks at Home Park will be open for the duration of the event, with food and beverages available, while all attendees will be gifted a discount voucher to spend in the Argyle Superstore.
The event marks one of the earliest non-matchday opportunities for supporters be reunited with Argyle squad after the closed doors period, and offers the Green Army the chance to meet the club’s new signings ahead of the 21/22 Sky Bet League One campaign.
Argyle’s Head of Conferencing, Hospitality and Events, Christian Kent, said: “As the new season edges closer, we’re delighted to be able to host the Green Army again.
“By offering free entry to supporters, we hope that we can bring everyone together again after a difficult and frustrating period, and really help generate that excitement and buzz for Ryan and the team ahead of the 21/22 season.”
Tickets for the event are available free of charge, and arrangements will be confirmed in due course, subject to the latest government restriction
