Former Arsenal, West Brom and Middlesbrough Goalkeeper who was a Loanee here during the 1988/89 season has sadly died today of a  heart attack aged 51.

Jeez, that's terrible. There was a discussion about him on here only a few weeks ago and how much of an impact he made in his stay at HP.Way too young to go.

RIP Alan

I've watched Argyle since 1978. It might only have been the 13 games but without doubt the best loan player I've ever witnessed in that time.

RIP Keeper

Miller and Elliot Ward were and still are the standout loan signings in my time watching Argyle.

Tragically young. RIP.

Was part of the squad but didn't play enough or at all to take home a medal unfortunately. He had the misfortune despite his ability to have John Lukic ahead of him tough ask for anyone to dislodge in the pecking order at his age.
