| Utter shit that was.
We played like this was a friendly and we were 2-0 up and going through the motions.. Disgraceful performance why only make 2 subs when the attack was crying out for fresh legs. Kane was crap and if he wants that big money move hes going the wrong way about it cause no way Real Madrid or man city will cough up £100m for him atm.
Southgate takes him off puts Rashford on who isnt a central striker more a left sided inside forward where he plays his best stuff and didnt bring on calvert-lewin the only other centre forward in the squad cause it was vitally important to take 4 right backs and not an extra striker or midfielder. Grealish coming on was much needed byt sterling should have been taken off he was crap tonight Foden should have stayed on for a tad longer before Sancho came on for him. Boring football and southgate did nothing to change it proving he is completly out of his depth as England manager and only there cause hes a yes man and no one else wanted the job which is the truth. I hope Spurs continue to run out of managers to get turned down by and make a move for him just to get him away from the national side.
Full credit to scotland they came to boogie and left with a lifeline point that keeps them in the comp. |

| Simply not good enough and reminded me of Argyle and Lowe in particular in many ways, from about 30 minutes I was thinking this clearly isn't working will he lake a change or wait until half time? When he eventually made a sub it was to take Foden off who was about our brightest spark and yet Kane lasted for 75 minutes despite not turning up for two games now. Fook off Southgate. |

Fook off Southgate. He is like Lowe where if his main tactic doesnt work hes screwed. Only difference being Ryan goes gung ho attack with little regard for defending (that better change next season fwiw) while Southgate has us defending with 7 man behind the ball at home and only 3 players being the main source of attack who get marked out of the game like last night. - Freathy wrote:

Only time Southgate gets fired up is defending that gesture from those who say its political and dont want it done but you have BLM flashed on screen and Marcus Rashford raising his fist so obviously it is. Bit Gareth cant motivate his players to go out there and perform agains there biggest rivals. |

| Taking the knee is a political gesture. Pure and simple.
It started with the American sportsmen (I think it was American football players) during their nation anthem and has gone on to sir smarmy and his bovver boot wearing sidekick doing it in an office in Parliament.
As for the fist gesture wasn't that started in the 60's by the Black Panthers? _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! As for the fist gesture wasn't that started in the 60's by the Black Panthers? yes at the Olympics there's that famous photo of that moment that still gets shown to this day. Colin Kaepernick the player that started that kneeling protest. He likes to tell everyone who will pay him that this this was the reason he isn't playing in the nfl anymore but in truth he turned down a new deal with the 49ers wanting to be a free agent, called the league racist pissed off alot of potential teams despite him being a 3rd rate quarterback on the decline who had a good season 3 years prior and not an attractive signing to make especially for the money he wanted which tom brady wasn't even asking for. Scotland i felt did their own stance on racism far better and more prominent against the Czech's nothing political, no kneeling, no raising fists just standing together. Why is it beneath England to do that as a compromise if they have to do this gesture. |

| Trouble is that sport is regarded as business above sport nowadays and is run by the usual Oxbridge guys that are so far removed from real life they wouldn't know it if it bit them on their arses, they don't know any real fans and probably talk about "soccer" when not talking money. The product placement row is looking like getting interesting with EUEFA saying they will fine players for removing drinks from interview tables. I am fully behind Ronaldo with his "agua" comment he didn't get where he was today by quaffing Heinekin Lager and Coca Cola and no way should young kids be duped into believing that he does. The French guy (Mbenza?) covered the bottle of beer with his hand but he's a Muslim FFS! Having him sat next to a bottle of beer is about as offensive as someone sat next to a pornographic image in the USA or England. Don't even start me off on pitch side advertising with the running dog and stuff totally distracting and shouldn't be allowed, the game in the eyes of the bosses is secondary to the money. |

I think it was Paul Pogba who did that not to sure but what i am sure of is that Heinekin bottle he removed was non alcoholic and it was on the label. players are just as bad for promoting shit, cristiano even at one time plugged coca cola. I recall from watching that netflix documentary on Michael Jordan's time with the Chicago Bulls when he was in the Olympics he refused outright to display the reebok logo on the the dream teams uniforms due to his endorsements with Nike and decided when they went up to collect their Gold Medals to wrap the USA flag around him to hide it. |

| going into the last games of the groups tomorrow and so far only Turkey are eliminated from the competition outright. 4 teams can qualify from 3rd which i think is crazy but never mind.
Spain were all over the place upfront tonight. If Morata is the best they have then i wouldnt be shocked to see them eliminated next week when they play Slovakia. |

| How in the hell was Kieffer Moore passed up on by us and to an extent Exeter too when Torquay's academy closed down in 2012! Im stunned we didnt cease the chance to sign him up to our academy seeing how his career has gone.!!!
BLOODY BRENT and Hodges screwed up big time here. p |

| If England finish 2nd in the group it could be argued that our next round opponents will come from an "easier" group albeit played in Copenhagen
If we finish top whilst played at Wembley France, Germany or Portugal highly likely to end our interest in the tournament |

| That is a dilemma but we have to come out swinging tonight, we simply must beat the Chzech Republic to repair our damaged pride after the Sotland debacle. I get what you're saying but we would have to beat a big team sooner or later, Germany I don't fear that much, France and Portugal are a different matter and I think Italy could be the one to watch. |

| Despite England winning atm and playing ok certainly better than friday the czech's are exposing England here in defence if they were more potent upfront they would have punished them by now. |

| Binary Gareth makes Pulis look like Pep! Quite good first half, never really thought the Czech team threatened much second half in spite of a few bits of pressure. Have to say though that England don't convince as potential winners in spite of the usual pre tournament bullshit. Hope that's wrong, we'll see when they come against better opposition but well done for now i suppose. |

| gareth is too pulis like in his management style where he wont got for a 2nd or a 3rd goal and too scared to loose a 1=0 lead.
The FA cant surely think of keeping him on passed this competition regardless to how we do as the fans and media will turn on him if hes still in charge leading into the qatar world cip |

| Clear Saka and Grealish must start in next game. In fact the only change I'd make is retain Henderson in the side instead of Rice. Not a fan of Henderson per se but am not exactly sure what Rice actually does. Good to see Kyle Walker back in his rightful position
As Ears says we gotta play a big team sooner or later. |

| Why wasn't Saka playing before last night? He's just what the team needed also I'm not sure about Rashford, I thought we were worse after the subs bar Henderson who did well. Way too many back passes into our own area from Walker with one of them ending up with us nearly getting robbed and Shaw giving away a free kick just outside our area, better get robbed on the half way line than around our goal area a decent team would have punished us for our mistakes last night. Scotland lol. |

| Time to brush up on "10 German bomber" lyrics and get out the old Fawlty towers dvd once more. The Jerries have been a bit inconsistent so far and conceded a few goals, so maybe there are areas that England can exploit. Never all that confident about matches against them though, too much scar tissue accumulated since 1970 when they poisoned Banksy before the quarter final but i suppose you never know. |
