| I think several of the the above comments seem to indicate that ATD followers don't think stats are the best way to judge players |

Solely using stats isn't the best way to judge players. I don't think anybody said they were? However... They are a very useful tool for analysis and combating 'personal bias'. |

- The type of role Mayor plays, he picks the ball up then goes forward and last year would put in Fadz who then crosses. This year it is more Grant.
People make me laugh who slag off Mayor. He wouldn’t be within a million miles of Home Park if he did all he does AND got ten goals and ten direct assists a year.
Mayor assists the assister. Always has done. I don't think its beyond thinking its laughable to demand a bit more from the guy who has a total of 2 assists in the league who is the main creative force in the team and is on far more money than anyone else in the squad. Not asking for Ozil of old's number of assists but certainly more than 2 when he is a key player. To be happy with him running into defenders and either losing the ball or his inability to shoot at goal is nothing to be boasting about. |

...............but he doesn't lol. Name me a more higher profile (when he signed) overrated player this last 50 years that stayed 2 full seasons Steve Crawford was a disappointment but still got 6 in 26 games albeit not sure how long he was here How long did Peter Swan stay ?? Mayor is wildly overrated...simple as |

| Without Mayor we would be looking at relegation this season, period. I'm not saying he's the best player we've ever had I'm saying he's the best player we have now. |

Mayor is wildly overrated...simple as What you don’t get Harve is that ‘rating’ a player is wholly subjective to the person who is doing the rating. Personally, I’m far more likely to have my mind changed on a player, by listening to a person whose footballing opinion I have a high regard for. There’ll be clueless fucktards that think Mayor should be in the Prem. Then at the opposite scale there’s people like you who think he’s the most overrated player of the last 50 years. Lol. Both opinions aren’t worth the keyboard pixels they’re taking up. |
