It was what I was told by an ex director too. Promises of seeking out additional investment to support a promotion bid, were found to have not been acted upon.He was then easy to headhunt by Leicester, a club whose ambition exceeded even his.

I'm so desperate to be one of the pasoti 'in-crowd' that I left pasoti of my own valition, told the 'in-crowd's' big kahuna, Mr Newell, exactly what I thought of him, and (as I have always done) continued to put my own, fiercely independent point of view, not knowing or caring who disagreed with me. And I'll continue to do that, regardless of the fact that so many pasoti posters are obsessed with me to the point that they feel the need to defame me just for volunteering to help the Trust. Yes I like Pasoti. It's a great site - which without, we wouldn't have a football club. I don't care what any of you think, I believe that to be fact. I also stand by my remark of you and several others wanting to be part of the in crowd. Unfortunately you couldn't do that with your 'fiercely independant views', so had to come running here where you are accepted as the returning hero, rather than stick it out over on Pasoti and defend these famous independant views. I believe that to be true of others on here too.

Here on ATD, you have built your own community. Credit to you all, it's a nice site and has some lively debates. Unfortunately, most of these debates stem from guessing which alias IJN, Daz or Chris are 'supposedly' posting under and how you all told them the big financial mess was coming (Yes you Tring). Now we're going to spend several years in the 4th and god forbid, 5th tiers of English football, with little hope of really competing, as we have an inept and inarticulate manager [Brent rates him ], and Brent's debts to pay off for 5 years.

I'm pretty certain that even the current diehard fans will tire of endless flag waving, fanfests, visits to poxy grounds and the whole organic experience. That is, unless they are really thick and have little else in their lives.

Personally I find this 'Who are you on PASODI?' stuff benign.

I'm all for protecting the site after what IBS did to our last one, but not the extent where we're putting off new posters, if they're "greentinted" or not. Mind you, it would be easier if people stuck to one username (though even I used until recently a different user on PASOTI).

Yeah, who cares. The more alternate views on here the better the site will be and the debate can be had. Just like pasoti used to be with convincing arguments.
