Argyle News
Argyle will be searching for a reaction having fell to a disappointing defeat at Northampton Town a few days ago. Our next opponents, who currently occupy the final League One play-off position, have experienced a week of upheaval, with manager Darren Moore departing for Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on Monday.
Argyle manager is calling on his players to be brave on the ball when they take on Doncaster Rovers tomorrow. Lowe thought there were too many safe and backwards passes we have got to penetrate, we have got to split lines and pass through the thirds, and run with the ball in certain areas.
Tuesday night has given me a different selection headache now because we didn’t live up to the expectations that we should of.
Midfielder Lewis Macleod has the final two months of this season to earn himself a new contract at Plymouth Argyle with his performances on the pitch.
The 26-year-old has returned to fitness after being side lined by an ankle injury since the start of January.
Danny Mayor is another player who is set to be out of contract at the end of the season. Lowe was asked by the local media whether any talks had taken place with the 30-year-old about a new deal.
He replied: "That's private and confidential. I have loads of discussions with a lot of players. They will stay in house.
Hard to pick a team for this weekend, Sam Woods out suspended. Lowe has ruled out the possibility Gary Sawyer being part of the squad. If Opoku is still injured would he move Fornah back and play Macleod in the holding roll?
My Team would be
Mike Cooper Will Aimson, Jerome Opoku or (Tyrese Fornah), Kell Watts, Joe Edwards, Panutche Camara Danny Mayor, Tyrese Fornah or (Lewis Macleod) Conor Grant; Ryan Hardie, Luke Jephcott
Substitutes: Luke McCormick, Ben Reeves Ollie Tomlinson Ryan Law, Adam Lewis, Niall Ennis, Byron Moore, Lolos

Joe Wright says it has been a seamless transition for Andy Butler since his appointment as Rover’s manager.
Wright has played alongside Butler for the past few years at the heart of the defence, and says he has taken to management well.
Rovers face Plymouth Argyle at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend, and Wright says the squad are confident of making it back-to-back home wins.
He added: “Plymouth are a good side as we saw when we last played them, the travelling and other factors probably got the better of us in the end.
“If we can perform the way we did in the second-half of that game then we’ve got a good chance but we know they’re dangerous. “They’ve got Niall Ennis and Conor Grant who I’ve played with before and they both have a lot of quality.”
Rovers manager Andy Butler says winger Jon Taylor will miss this weekend’s but Josh Sims is available for the game
