Argyle's New Owner is named - fact!

The ever more idiotic mrrapson being chastised by marin(er) for acting without any of the real facts states this:

"The supposed bidder is a friend of Keith Todds, he lives in the next village over, no supposition, no hearsay. Fact. There are too many unanswered questions".


When questioned, Mrrapson names him:

"The supposed money man (rumour) is Kachiro Abe (mastpoint investor) he lives in the next vllage to Keith Todd '(fact) they socialise regularly (fact). Abe has just started a business called Argon Entertainment. Easy info to find out.

Hope that answers your question".

... and if you are wondering why it says "rumour" and not fact?

Laugh... Marin(er) points out that because the only point that matters is 'supposition', it proves his point completely that the info is nothing more than rumour - it just makes rapson look the complete fool.

The thread is great, it just gets funnier and funnier.

Scary time for the club with some of the idiots that seem to be leading the fans.

He's not on here to defend himself but Rapson is comedy gold at the moment. I like the way he confirms other peoples posts, as though it's not true until he sweeps in.

There is not going to be a Pheonix Resurgam AFC Argyle crawl out of any ashes.

If it did, it would be little more than a village team and certainly not playing at Home Park and only followed I suspect, by the sort of fans that stand in a huddle and jump up and down singing "ring a rang a roo" at the end of the night

And the truth of the matter is... If the team did achieve anything, the 'money' men would step in and you would be straight back to square one.

Money is part of the game/business that football is. It is just playing an ever increasing part.

I would like to know his definition of the word "Fact". Just because one of the GT's told you doesn't mean its a "Fact"

But like you say he is not on here to defend himself, but I do look for his posts because he is comedy gold. The Voice of Reason thread is worth checking out as he is calling for VOR to be banned, only to realise later on that it is a personal friend of his who had not told him he had signed up!

A village team would suit me over a club that's run on moral corruption and with little or no hope of a reasonable future Ricks.

You're right though, any club that has a hint of success or land to be developed is eaten up by scum. It's not just an Argyle problem, it's just that we're sat on land that's worth a few bob.

I would be happy for a village team free from this present corruption to re emerge from all this. That would ensure no political cover for large development in the park and the ground would be made available for a new Argyle.
To worry about the money men just coming in again some way down the line is like not living life to the full because death is around the corner, or not drilling for oil 'cos the American Navy is just off shore.

Argyle wouldn't have been born in the first place if worries of the future dominated behaviour, and often the birth and initial growth is where the real heartfelt enjoyment llies.

Ain't that the truth. There's no doubt it would be a long road back............. but it would happen. The support potential behind something 'good' would be huge.

Years down the road a trust owned club could sell/ share with a football orientated new owner with the money to complete the job.

Should have happened recently but the bad guys got greedy.
