Cornwall in the summer is renowned for an influx of well-heeled travellers from London.

Boris Johnson is going one better in June, hosting his first significant summit as prime minister in an idyllic beachside hotel near St Ives.

The Carbis Bay hotel is the stage for the G7 summit at which the prime minister is expected to meet Joe Biden, the incoming US president, for the first time along with leaders of the other G7 nations – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the UK and Japan – and representatives from the EUuropean Union

Stayed there once,nice place with its own 9 hole golf course. Pity the Donald isn't still in charge he may have been so impressed that he bought the place.Trump Carbis,eh.

You won’t be able to get anywhere near St.Ives during this pointless jolly.
Really feel sorry for the poor buggers who’s holidays will be cancelled to accommodate Sleepy Joe, limp Justine Trudeau, Micron & their gun totting entourage.

I don't know you need to think of the positives really. Imagine the benefits it will bring? Cameron visited Polzeath on holiday, complained about the mobile signal and within weeks there was a solid five bars everywhere, shame he stopped at providing 21st century infrastructure in places he didn't go on holiday to though.
Maybe they will continue the Motorway to St Ives or build a tunnel connecting it with London? Possibilities are endless.
