Mr Mercer said that he thinks everyone over the age of 80 in Plymouth will have been vaccinated by Friday, and if not by Friday, then "certainly by the end of this week", he said.

It comes as the vaccine rollout continues across the nation, with more vaccination centres due to open up across the South West region in the coming weeks.

Johnny also said that on Friday January 22, he hopes to be able to announce another local mass vaccination centre. (Home Park)

In the video, Johnny said: "I really hope and I think we will have vaccinated everybody over the age of 80 by Friday

Well done Boris Thumbs

lol TGWU

I shouldnt take the bait but I'll explain again

When the Government hands contracts to friends, donors, mates and other corrupt institutions its been a complete and utter fiasco this last 12 months...... (where IS Diana Harding !)

When the Government hands the vaccination programme in entirety to the NHS and the Army surprise surprise its been a magnificent success

It was a tongue in cheek  Harve, with all the politics going on, i am just happy that we are doing a great roll out. It the only thing i think everyone is agreeing on..

PS  Diana Harding  was being question by the Commons Public Accounts Committee yesterday, I was watching a replay early this morning on the Parliament tv channel. She said 1,000 people are being swabbed every minute
