David Schneider, the Left-wing comedian, to this end told his 500,000 followers we were witnessing 'this week's episode of Who Cares if You Die as Long as we Brexit', adding that it showed Brexit to be a 'death cult'.

James Felton, a comedy writer for The Guardian and BBC, accused the evil PM of 'killing your own citizens to own the EU'.

Sturgeon 'in denial' over vaccine rollout as Scotland sets record daily low for doses delivered

Nicola Sturgeon should "quit the charade" that Scotland's vaccine roll-out is going well, it was claimed on Monday, after she lauded its performance while reporting a record low number of jabs.

Hannah Dean pretended to be a journalist to gain entry to hospitals before sharing photos on social media of wards which were not on the frontline in the fight against the virus.

'EMMANUEL Macron's sidekick Clement Beaune has taken a swipe at the UK, accusing Boris Johnson of taking "enormous risks" in respect of the Government's COVID-19 vaccines strategy - while defending the slower pace of vaccines rollout in France and the EU.

Mr Beaune, France's Minister for European Affairs, highlighted how the United Kingdom had not limited AstraZeneca's COVID vaccine to those aged under 65, as has been the case in France and other European Union countries. He told LCI TV: "You see, the United Kingdom has taken fewer precautions than ourselves."

He said: "We often compare Europe to the UK and Israel, but we need to be precise here.

"The UK is mainly counting on one vaccine, AstraZeneca.

"The UK, given its difficult health situation, has taken huge risks that our scientists have warned us against."

AZ should tell the eu in no uncertain terms that if france and germany continue to slander their vaccine then the doses for those countries will be taken away.

'FINLAND has joined Britain and broken with much of Europe to announce it will wait 12 weeks between AstraZeneca vaccine doses, rather than three.

The UK introduced the move in a bid to provide as much of the population with some protection as possible. Test results released yesterday from the University of Oxford, which worked with AstraZeneca to produce the jab, concluded the three-month gap does not impact the vaccine's effectiveness.

Finland’s regulatory body, the National Vaccine Expert Group (KRAR), also approved the extended timespan.

Hanna Nohynek, the chief physician at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), explained the decision.

She said: “When trying to prevent loss of life, it seems natural to take it from the point where the clear exponential rise starts.

“The vaccinated person usually gets better protection when the dosing interval is extended, because the resistance produced by the body matures and strengthens.'

Guardian - Germany’s finance minister has attacked the European commission’s Covid vaccine strategy as “really shit”, Bild has reported, as Angela Merkel’s centre-left coalition partners seek to exploit anger over the issue before federal elections.

Olaf Scholz, who is also the vice-chancellor, reportedly criticised the commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, by name during a cabinet meeting on Monday, saying Berlin could not “let this shit repeat itself” and that the vaccine debacle was “a disgrace”.

'THE DUTCH health council has warned against using the AstraZeneca vaccine in people aged over 65.

In a letter to health minister Hugo de Jonge, the advisory body also claimed people with a troubled immune system should not receive the Oxford-produced jab. Their recommendation follows a growing list of European regulators that have recommended against using doses of the Anglo-Swedish firm’s vaccine in the older population. It comes despite the EU’s drug watchdog, the European Medicines Agency, giving it the green light for use in all adults across the bloc.

The Gezondheidsraad said the AstraZeneca vaccine should be rapidly administered to people aged between 60 and 64.

In a statement, the health council said the jab was “effective, sufficiently safe and acceptable”.

It added: “It triggers an immune response in older people that is comparable to people aged 18-55”.
