To be fair to Harve this is as close as he has come to highlighting a real scandal although in true Harve fashion he manages to just miss it at the last minute. The test and trace has been a disaster and as Seadog points out with his C&P it's costing us millions with mates getting paid filmstar money and yet we still dont have a living wage. The other massive mistake the government made was to not lock the SE and London down when they found the new variant which has led to us all being locked down including the Scilies which has zero cases. Can you imagine the Gov locking down London with zero cases especially if was situated where the Scilies are?
The Covid outbreak has served to highlight how absolutely fookin useless the Government are and Labour would do no differently, we are literally drowning under red tape, rules and getting strangled by the old school ties. We need root and branch change which I can't even bother to get angry about Bojo and co they're the tip of the iceberg and changing the man at the top would change fook all.

Labour/Tory, Democrat/Republican - all need business to generate the cash for their spending, how to change that?

Personally I am getting sick to the back teeth of getting preached to by a complete and utter hypocrite who openly admits to breaking the rules by travelling from tier 2 to tier 4 over Christmas.

Thank fook we are out of the EU or else we would have to follow their procurement rules. The EU has finally decided to try a joined up approach yet only in buying the vaccine yet many EU states are already complaining they don't have enough vaccine, they can't buy any themselves as this would break the strict EU rules and red tape.
We are way ahead of any of them in the vacc race.

Now we know what macron's priorities have been during the pandemic!

That "strict" rule went out the window last week with Germany buying up loads of the Pfizer vaccine.
EU not fit for purpose as usual.

The Germans run the EU really. I remember my Grandad saying years ago that when they did the single currency Germany would rule Europe as the mechanism they used gave them better value for their mark than anybody else got and it was why we never went into the Euro.

Against my will, this morning I had to leave the mostly safe confines of the wilderness and venture into Muffsville, Jannerbama, to Iceland for the monthly freezer fill-up.

Long story short, people just aren’t getting it. Twice I had to tell people to back the feck off away from me, reaching over my shoulder to grab something off the shelves and then not waiting 2 metres away in the check out queue. I also asked a bloke, politely and tactfully of course, why he isn’t wearing a mask. Basically, his answer was he couldn’t give a feck. I would have Twatted him with a tin of chopped tomatoes or a frozen pizza and then lectured him if my missus wasn’t with me. Utter cnutish attitude!

Then there was a group of 3 women yapping in the desert isle with their masks around their chin, then another two women who obviously haven’t see each other for a while hugging and pecking each other’s cheek!

What is it going to take before it sinks in with these fuckwits? Uh?

I couldn’t get out of there and back home to sheep, cows and rabid squirrels fast enough.

I need a drink!
