Plymouth Raiders defeated the Worcester Wolves 69- 60 and Manchester Giants beat Bristol Flyers 66-59 to start off their 2020-21 BBL campaign with wins

Ashley Hamilton dropped 22 points for Raiders as they cruised past the Wolves at the University of Worcester Arena. Wolves were up at half time however the Raiders picked up their game to secure the win. Chris Porter-Bunton also put in a superb performance supplying 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

For the hosts Josh Mcswiggan was the star man with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Michah Elan also put in a solid performance but his 15 points were not enough for the Wolves who start off the new season with a defeat.

Tomorrow home to the Eagles 3pm

On again today, I did manage to receive the streaming a bit fiddly but it did work.

What a game, Raider made hard work with a game they should have won easily. bad shots and silly fouls let Newcastle back in.

i wonder if the owner of the raiders will end up build the pavilions in future to provide his team with a bigger venue rather than wait for the reluctant one to waste more time and money on it.

i saw that, it really is an absolute disgrace for a paper embarrassing and getting worse with no sign of the owners of that paper doing anything to change its fortunes. I watched one of their work experienced calling herself a video journalist do a live stream of the barbican on a saturday on the first week of lockdown 2 (3rd is coming next year even with the vaccine) where it was pretty much bare for obvious reasons but she was trying so hard to make it look and sound like chernobyl or pompeii with her describing areas she walks passed as being abandoned suddenly and no one will be coming here again when it was clear people where there just not in the pubs lol
