Sky's Adam Boulton, you may recall, nearly had a televised punch up with Labour/EU luvvy Alistair Campbell. However, all has changed as he now sings from the same song sheet, why ? The reality is that the U.S. communication company 'Comcast' was given go ahead by the EU (of all people) to buy UK company Sky Satellite TV (which also has sports outlets in Germany and Italy) for $36bn. As Comcast has the U.S. Democratic Party firmly in it's back pocket it was a match made in heaven as far as Brussels is concerned. After Grieve, who among the virulently pro-EU ex Tory MP's will be next: Hammond, Gauke, Soames or Clarke ?

Harve, Grieve talks of intergrity but where is his ? The people who elected him / pay his wages, voted out in the referendum which he not only ignored but wants to hold again with 'remain' an option - the fact is he's a fecking disgrace for even thinking about to denying their wishes. Remember also that Grieve stood as an independant in the general election and his constituents told him to "feck off."

Just who is Dominic Grieve....

Quote from You Gov - 30 April

In fact, the biggest change in favourability ratings has come for Keir Starmer, who has dropped from -7 in the first week of April to -19 now.

So rather than Johnson taking a ratings hit, it appears that the public are becoming less favourable toward the Leader of the Opposition.

Dominic Cummings – at the centre of so much of the story last week – has a net favourability of -75. The last time YouGov asked the public for their perceptions on the PM’s former right-hand man in October 2020, this figure stood at -64.

Ah! It's Tim Walker we've got now. This former Telegraph journalist who went on to become Lib Dem candidate only to step down when he realised that he was going against a fellow remainer in the coming election - what a noble fellow. He then went on to write articles for the thicky-thick's news-sheet aka the Daily Mirror who's sole purpose in life is to pocket the thickos dosh while instructing him / her where to put their X on the Ballet paper. We all know how successful that was. I believe his latest berth is the rabidly pro-EU the old 'The New European' which has recently broke even by selling a whopping 40,000 copies. Of course it's still possible that thick brown envelopes with a Brussels postmark are being discreetly passed under the table Wink

That's the first time in posting on ATM for nearly 50 years, I've been called an 'able' poster!

And fully deserved ... right up until I happened across your post regarding ECFC on page 2 of the George Floyd thread. Shocked

I've been called many a cursive, but 'able' poster! I'll take that!  clown

Funny that Mercer never said fook all until he was sacked by them.

Part of Mercer's former job at the M.O.D. was looking after those veterans - some who are now in their 70s and early 80s who were never granted any form of amnesty for those 'supposed' shootings at events like 'Bloody Sunday. Mercer went on to complain that they were still being pursued through the courts even though there was 'no new evidence' against them. All Mercer wanted was 'someone' to take the bull by the horns and let those old soldiers live the rest of their lives free of prosecution and a jail sentence. That 'someone' could have been any Prime minister from Blair, Brown, Cameron, May or Boris. Of course it's much better to maintain the status quo for fear of the return of violence.

T'was only nine days ago I defended Johnny Mercer in his attempts to defend aged veterens who have long lived under the threat of further prosecution even though their lives were on the line while doing their duty in the powder keg that was Belfast.

Like I said, either Blair, Brown, Cameron, May or Boris could and should've sorted this out years ago.

The same feckless oaf that has the finger on the button of our nuclear arsenal

Truly astonishing (more amusing that the ST are slicing and dicing him again)

The latest out of Downing St on top is that he seeked out a donor to provide a nanny for the Wilfred offspring from his latest trollop Symonds. I have little doubt that story will rear its head over the next 48 hours

There are claims a top civil servant was under observation by Dominic Cummings and his Downing street supporters. I imagine if Dom finds himself under interrogation just about everything including names will come out.

Also, this link claims that Labour is running a 'Redthroat' network of spies in Whitehall and feeding info to 'friendly' reporters.

The third paragraph also makes interesting reading as there appears to be doubts about what Johnson actually said about 'bodies' which cause Starmer to add '...or remarks to that effect.'

I'm at a loss with Johnsons evasiveness over this Flat refurb money.

I've already said couple pages back it was low level shit in comparison to the rest his corrupt dealings and if he'd come out and said yeah shit I should have declared it orginally no one would have really batted an eyelid, including me. Its the usual Johnson lies but no real sweat on this small one

The only conclusion after Dominic Rabb's utter squirming on the Sophie Ridge show yesterday is that the origin of the funds is so catastrophic to Johnson and the party that they'll die on the sword before revealing it

Is there another reason ??  I cant imagine one ??  If you guys would stay on topic I'd respond

The thread is not about Corbyn Starmer Diane Abbott or anyone else. Its about Tory corruption

Ok so why is Johnson being so absurdly difficult in revealing the source of the monies ? Simple question

(edited dont be remotely surprised if Johnson at some point rolls out a fall guy stooge as the source)

Scottish Independance has also been a nightmare for the Labour party. Sorry to deviate from the topic of the original thread but in my defence you do it every other post Harve.

I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that it was the Reverend Tony bleeding Blair who, when not organising wars, was responsible for the formation of all local parliaments. The dumb ter-wat not realising that by giving these assemblies a taste of power that they'll always come back for more and more which is exactly what has happened.

Also, if I was Boris Johnson, I would inform the Scottish Parliament that on declaring independence from the UK, the cash-flow from the Barnett Formula would cease immediately and that all shipbuilding for the Royal Navy would go to shipyards located in England. I believe the workforce at Appledore fully deserve to see their yard enlarged to build ships up to the size of frigates and destroyers.

It’s believed that Bliar instigated the devolved parliaments in preparation for the EU breaking up the UK & other countries into regions of their federal superstate.

That's right m'lord. Southern England and Northern France would be lumped together into an area with the French sounding name of 'Arc Manche.'
