| Cooper has had good half foreshore. Missed Jeppers goal whilst watching the EFL screen with players warming up in background then noticed live text with Jephcott goal FFS! Main gripe is they don't cover the pitch well with one camera and hard to see goal scrambles even with quite big monitor. Commas were garbled towards the end for a spell other than that it's ok. Chuck in a few more cameras and iron out the glitches. |

| There's no way we can keep Blackpool out much longer. They are attacking at will. Completely one sided match. |

Yep. And this would be the classic 'even a broken clock' moment, etc. etc. |

There were one or two on here wetting their knickers because Palmer wasn't brought back. Whatever happens from here on in, it is clear as day the quality Cooper has got. |

| I think we were all doubtful about the goalkeeping situation, but we don't see what Lowe does in training, so very encouraging today in that Jephcot and Cooper are home grown players. Coming together nicely. |

| Argo much improved in second half, they sounded like a team who had reacted to a good half time talk. |

| Cooper MOM for me, Aimison close second and tribute to Mayor as well. Nouble meh. How the fook Blackpool didn't score I don't know, Cooper aside they were very wasteful. Can't moan about opening day win wierd as it was. |

Agree with that 100%. TBF to Blackpool they do look a very good team, but first day games can be very odd. We tonked Crewe at their place last August and they ended up finishing above us. |

| Good win,bit backs to the wall at times but certainly couldn't fault the commitment. The one big worry for me was the first touch of our players in comparison to theirs, gave the ball away needlessly at times and created problems which a more ruthless side could have punished.Maybe that's being harsh, there were some very good defensive performances with young Cooper doing his job very well and Mayor was a constant threat to Blackpool when Argyle attacked, thought Telford did quite well too.Hopefully the injuries aren't too serious, games will come thick and fast and Argyle will need as many fit players as possible to cope.Great start though, well done Argyle. |

| Lowe will be happier than the Blackpool manager tonight.
Expect the usual "we controlled the game, can't understand how we lost" quotes from one and "we got the result we deserved" from t'other. |

| Did'nt watch the game but a great result, very pleased that Cooper and Jephs had good games, but would rather Palmer was in goal i think he's real quality. |

Without Hardie I think its a 1-1 draw That is why I was shocked last week and the QPR comment Freathy had made. Good to see the lad back on form. |

| Fine result to start the campaign. Blackpool will probably be up there, or thereabouts, come season end.
Right, Bring on Leyton Orient !!. |
