i disagree for the reasons ive already said dont forget league cup games and midweek fixtures never sellout anywhere. Its not the FA Cup where teams take it seriously. |

| Can't remember seeing Spurs playing at HP in any competitive match, the 1961 game was before my time. They came down for a couple of friendlies,i think one was for Crudgies testimonial but that was about it.Got to beat Orient first anyway and that won't be easy, strong local derby incentive for them. |

| Certainly would have been a complete full house and not just because the away end would have been rammed. Spurs will always remain one of the biggest draws in the Country You can only imagine the level of piss taking in Jose' direction during the match if we were leading and went on to win. |

You underestimate the average starstruck Janner, Angry. They aren’t bothered what comp it is. It’s Spurs. It’s José. I remember playing a Joe soap Everton side about 15 years ago and that was over 20,000 sellout, and they’re less of a draw than Spurs. I’m just glad we didn’t draw them away. Missing out on that trip would have left me mightily miffed. |

| ^ Only this.
I think Spurs are one of only five current league teams I've not seen us play in a competitive fixture since I started watching Argyle in 1978. It was just three before the summer addition of Barrow and Harrogate.
The other being Manchester United and I didn't go to FGR last year.

Not seen Argyle play Spurs either. Cracking tie should Argyle beat Leyton Orient. |

I’m just glad we didn’t draw them away. Missing out on that trip would have left me mightily miffed. i know how thickle they are but they wont rush out to watched spurs reserve team on a tuesday/wednesday night especially as the league cup isnt as attractive or a money spinner like the FA Cup. I am sure they would still get a decent crowd but 18500 nahhhh. If they were that star struck on big teams coming here they would have packed out home park all 3 times Chelsea u23 team came here in the efl trophy in the past 3 seasons. And those getting giddy about watching possibly spurs for the first time at home park need to remember you'll be watching the kids not the stars and that doesnt count . Lets not over look Leyton Orient here either. |

| Na you’re wrong on this one Angers, the same as your declaration with George Cooper that there was “no way Argyle would pay money for him”. |
