| Some rumours have been suggested on pasoti of possible changes to the squad-
Staying/ Ins- Mayor, McFadzean, Hardie to sign a permanent deal (apparently this has come from Hardie himself)
Out- Sarcevic (wants to return north and is possibly going to Salford), Taylor, Canavan, Joel and Conor Grant
Argyle want to sign Alex Palmer (out of contract), but so do a number of clubs. West Brom may also keep him.
The guy posting most of the rumours pafc_casual does get some rumours correct, but he did get some wrong last pre-season. |

| I doubt if any firm decisions will be made or new contracts offered until every Club knows for certain where they will start next season.
For example, WBA starting next season as a PL Club would want a totally different squad than if they remain in the Championship.

| Whether we are in lge. 1 or 2 we still need to bin Canavan, J. grant, Sawyer, Taylor and we'd want to sign Mayor, MacFazdean and especially Hardie. |

| Sarcevic im not fussed if he is going he is replaceable and he can be a liability at times despite being an asset in others. Id wish him well at Salford but i really dont see him being a regular in league one if we do go up.
I'll be happy to see the back of static caravan and Taylor. Connor grant just isnt a player who can hold down a starting role more a useful squad player and Joel Grant isnt a striker he has tried to adapt to that role but he is a winger and we dont play with wingers. We know Fletcher is off as a fact as he said it himself.. |

| Sarcevic has been a fantastic player the last 18 months and would be a loss. But if we are in League 1 next year we should be able to land someone equally capable.
It’ll be interesting how much Sarce ( or more to the point, his fookin missus) want to be back up north at Salford if salary caps come in and instead of a wage rise, he’d be looking at a significant wage cut with League 2’s cap. |

Maybe Lowe is Lukewarm about keeping him and maybe not offering him decent wages? Lots of ins and outs we don't know about and rightly so. |

| The whole defence needs addressing it should have been done last season I’d sack most of the defence If im honest bar Palmer ld keep him if a deal could possibly be done for him Sarcevic not to bothered about though he played quite well last season compared to the previous season where he was a stone & half over weight and could just about run plus if we do go up think he would struggle in league one specially if he ain’t on the top of his fitness one disappointment though young fletcher showed a lot promise but it wasn’t to be |

| A twitter account (not sure how reliable they are) @EFLzone has linked Argyle with departing Everton defender Matty Foulds. Foulds was formerly an academy player at Bury, so might be known to Lowe, and primarily plays at LB. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Sounds a good signing if Lowe could pull it off
It follows a report from the Liverpool Echo that Foulds, along with fellow under-23 stalwarts Morgan Feeney and Alex Denny would not be offered a new deal to remain at the club this summer.
It brings to an end a promising potential career for Foulds at Everton, with many hopeful he might have the ability to follow in the footsteps of John Stones in thriving at the club after joining from lower-league football.
Foulds joined from Bury in January 2016. As reported by the Liverpool Echo, the deal cost Everton £225,000 and the club expected him to be playing first-team football within the next two years.
Best Former Footballer at EVERY Age (40-75) Speaking to the Everton website, then first-team boss Roberto Martinez explained his excitement at the arrival.
“Matty Foulds has all the attributes to be a very good ball-playing centre-half. We feel very excited about him joining in January.”
But by the time that two-year mark came up Foulds was not in the first-team and unfortunately for the left-sided defender, injuries played their part in preventing his progress. Much like Feeney and Denny, who will be leaving with him, Foulds has had some injury problems and has not quite achieved what many had hoped for.
That said, Foulds is still only 22-years-old and has gathered plenty of experience with David Unsworth’s extremely successful under-23 side. Indeed, those injury problems now look behind him with Foulds playing 22 games for the young Evertonians in 2019-20.
Everton fans will no doubt hope to see him fulfilling Martinez’s promise at his next club. |

| Suggestions on the pasoti rumours thread that McFadzean will turn down the contract offer as his wag has just had a baby and he wants to be closer to home. The same poster (casual) did say that Sarcevic, j grant and taylor would be off, but also said canavan and c grant were leaving too. |

We have to aim way lower than the likes of Maynard. Its obvious to all except a certain journalist that Maynard is friends with John Lucas maybe from their time at Bury who is fitness guru who he is using to get fit ready for pre season when ever that actually starts. I rather we see Hardie back before Maynard as he had a good partnership growing with Jephcott. |
