A revamped Argyle Superstore website will launch on Monday, providing an improved user experience for our supporters.
The new website, accessible through the same URL - argylesuperstore.co.uk, provides a greater range of features, as well as optimisation for users who access the Superstore website on mobile devices.
The website, developed in partnership with North Devon web design company Dogleg, has undergone a visual upgrade, too, with the Superstore aesthetics updated to align with the club’s current branding.
“Like with all areas of the football club, we are working hard to improve our supporter experience,” said Jamie Yabsley, Argyle’s Head of Marketing and Communications.
“With members of the Green Army living all over the world, online services are of growing importance to the club, particularly given the current circumstances.”
The updated software will soon allow for electronic gift cards to be used online, as well as providing better data reporting and analytics, allowing the Superstore team to get a better understanding of which products are most popular with the Green Army.
The structure of the website has also undergone significant improvements, with the focus on providing a more intuitive layout, allowing supporters to find what they are looking for more easily.
“While there are a few technical elements that will help make things more efficient for our retail staff, the driving force behind the project was to make the website easier for supporters to use,” said Jamie.
Work is ongoing to ensure that the Argyle Superstore at Home Park is safe to open at the earliest opportunity – including the installation of screens at tills.
Although the physical Argyle Superstore remains closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Superstore website continues to take orders. Meanwhile, our distribution centre has reopened, with social distancing measures in place, allowing club staff to process mail-order items.
