| This came up on one of my news feeds the other day. After beating West Ham 3-0 in the 3rd rd at Home Park we next faced league/cup double winners Spurs . I remember queuing in the morning to get in at 12 for a 3pm kick off. Necessary for a short arse in order to get to the front behind the goal at the BP end. Vividly remember Peter Anderson get our goal right in front of us. Still alive I believe. Played golf with him at Staddon Heights. The Spurs one touch football was mesmerising. ..... It's on youtube. FA cup 4th round Spurs beat Plymouth https://youtu.be/niVjuIAG6xY

| They all did. They were tapping the ball about and any one of 3 could score lol It all looks so ancient. 8yrs later I had hair down to my shoulders and was dressed in jackets of many colours, singing Woodstock covers in the college band ! |

My mum wouldn't let me go for years in the seventies because of all the trouble. Used to go "fishing" instead. Dump bike and rods at my mates place in Pennycross and walk over. Never used to catch much. |

| My Dad and grandparents went to the game, it was 14 years before my time. He told me that Jimmy McAnearney had scored from the half way line- obviously seeing that footage shows that wasn't the case |
