| No it’s prettty strange why he’s talking to the local Sheffield paper.
However Sheffield Wednesdays finances are all over the place add to that the support has completely unreal level of expectation despite them not winning anything almost 100 years. feck that for a game of soldiers. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] If a bigger club with more money in a better league wants him so be it, you cant blame him or another for wanting that opportunity. Managers and players are ambitious and want to be at the highest level they can be at winning trophies if possible. When Ryan Lowe goes and it wont be for wednesday atm we get compensated for him along with his staff he will want to take and then we get another manager with his backroom team and we carry on till that journey stops. Fans need to accept serious reality over managers and players loyalties. They must realise that they come and go all the time. some short stays, some a bit longer but in the end the come and go. The only loyal aspect of a football club that does stay long term no matter what is the fans its the same for every single club. ryan's pr comments are not a declaration of love, its his job. |

| Not to sure what any of this is to do with a Bury players doping offence. Don’t see the issue with him living in Plymouth during the week and back in Liverpool for weekends, bugger Willian’s family is in Brazil, hasn’t affected his performances for Chelsea. It was easier for Schumacher as his kids are Primary school age, not so for Lowe’s. As for his comments on predicting injuries on a mini pre season, I would suggest he knows the fragility’s within his players so I suspect his comments are based on that knowledge. Anyway I think we all know the shelf life of a L1/L2 Manager is not a good one, so why should they take the risk of disrupting his family. Maybe if Lowe was having a crap season then maybe there could be justification for the OP’s comments, but he ain’t and we’ll probably never know what we could have achieved this season. |

Not that strange at all. With no sports going on, papers are desperate to fill their pages with any old rubbish that might attract readers. This story is a 'nothing burger' that the likes of Pasoti get excited about. |

| I was prepared to dismiss this out of hand until I saw it was a regional rag which contained direct quotes from Lowe who played for that club for a year.
If you took it at face value It’s would be like the herald suddenly deciding to interview Jason Jarrett, except you wouldn't because Jarrett isn’t a current manager sniffing around a job that may become available at some point |
