A coach load of Macclesfield fans made the journey down on Friday and had stayed in Torquay for the weekend.
Argyle view on the game
Ryan Lowe is determined that Plymouth Argyle’s players will not get ahead of themselves as they chase automatic promotion from League Two.
Argyle have games against some of the top sides in the division over the final 10 fixtures of the season.
That includes the visits of Exeter City, Northampton Town and Port Vale, who all currently occupy the play-off positions.
However, Lowe wants his players to be solely focused on their game against relegation-threatened Macclesfield Town at Home Park tomorrow.
Lowe said: “I know the games are coming up thick and fast but, for us, we just worry about Macclesfield.
“We know what’s coming, we know games are around the corner, but you would be stupid to take your eye off Macclesfield and we are not going to be stupid enough to do that.
We go a good squad Lowe has praised the attitude of his squad after Tuesday’s 3-0 home win over Grimsby Town
Conor Grant, George Cooper and Ryan Hardie all came into the side and impressed. It is something that pleases the manager because everyone is eager to play.
We have Josh Grant and Will Aimson who are close to returning to fitness
The weekend guest is Colin Sullivan, who made Argyle history on his debut in 1968 as he became the youngest Pilgrim to play in the first-team, aged just 16 years at the time.
After the good win on Tuesday will we carry this on to this game.
I am going for a good 3 - 1 win .

Very tough one. We're way too inconsistent for the 'form' book to apply

We need to win as Swindon and Crewe have easy games, Cheltenham and Exeter not so easy and we could open up a gap over those two if results go our way.

I see Crewe are at home to the increasingly doomed Stevenage today - no slips up today then at HP.

Of our ten remaining games this looks the easiest on paper.
And even though games are not played on A4 I'm still feeling pretty good about today.

Yep and just get our goal difference up a bit. So close that it could come down to it. Three and six behind Crewe and Swindon currently

League Two table looking good now. Ten clear of 6th and 7th place. Cheltenham have a game in hand on 64 and E....r on 65 are having a wobble.

Good result. Plenty of very difficult games in the run-in though.

fantastic result and a solid performance. Cooper was on another level scoring the two goals and linking up with Mayor causing all sorts of problems, hardie was very lively up front. Wootton had a solid game in defence and cleared a goal bound shot off the line. Maccelsfield were very physical committing fouls aplenty probably lucky not to have picked up more yellow cards than they did.
Nice to see Randall and Clevis come on at the end all is going very well for us we just got to do our job and not worry about the other teams including the league title as thats swindons despite their defeat. Morecambe up next which could be a banana skin as we all know del bhey will set his team up to win 1-0 or draw at all costs.
