Plymouth Argyle boss Ryan Lowe urges the Green Army to turn out for Plymouth Parkway
Ryan Lowe has wished Plymouth Parkway well in their pursuit of a place in the last eight of the FA Vase.
Parkway will host West Auckland Town in their first ever fifth round tie at Bolitho Park on Saturday.
Lowe and his Plymouth Argyle players will be in League Two action in far-away Essex at the same time, when they take on Colchester United.
While the Pilgrims will be well supported as always on their travels, many members of the Green Army will be back in Plymouth.
So Lowe has urged them to get along to Bolitho Park to show their support for Parkway.
Manager Lee Hobbs and his assistant Karl Curtis have taken the Western League Premier Division club the furthest they have ever been in the competition.
Lowe sent a message to them on social media site Twitter on Friday morning.
He tweeted: “Good luck to Lee and Karl and all the players @PlymouthPFC tomorrow in the big FA Vase tie.
“Any of the Green Army fans (who) can’t make the Colchester trip go support and help them get into the last eight of the competition.”
The message from Lowe, who was named as the Sky Bet League Two Manager-of-the-Month for January was appreciated by Parkway.
