We Need You!

Plea on the official site for fans to turn up on Saturday for the D&R game. I would have thought appeals like this would be better in the Herald/WMN or use the advertising vans (we had them 2 - 3 seasons ago) driving around the city advertising the game?

I absolutely know what you're saying but the hook that it's a League Two relegation six-pointer isn't much of a hook! Tough one to advertise, that.

I do agree, though - it's preaching to the converted having a story like that on the official site, and it doesn't have much wider reach other than via the Only1Argyle twitter feed. If it gets a few people inspired to go along I guess there's no harm done.

I'm surprised that the official site, The President and The Trust hasn't picked up on and given a bit of backing to the 'Text a Mate' idea that someone suggested. Cheap and cheerful and from the few responses seemed to work.

As an aside West Ham had a full page advert in the Evening Standard this week. If it's good enough for them then something similar in the Herald might seem appropriate occassionally.
