It's blowing a hooley and pissing down out there.

Will be interesting to see how many of the usual attendies take the blanket off their legs and venture out into the abyss.

But still good to listen to. I will say... By far the best fans forum yet. If you want to know where the club is heading and why? It's a must listen!

Whoop whoop! the Hallets have been fantastic for the club no doubt about that, strange though i remember all the arse lickers, telling us there was no alternative to Jimmy.

Simon Hallett reckons January transfer window spending on players is usually a waste of money.

The United States-based businessman has data analytics to back up his belief.

well to be fair who have we signed in January thats been worth it? most clubs want to keep their best players and will want more money than if you were to try and sign the same player in the summer.

Moving the Demport to the BP wouldn't be popular. Not least because the prevailing westerly winds meaning a regular drenching for the bottom 50% of seats with a decent blow.

It pains me to say it but the year we got promoted under brent we did actually make a few key signings. Taylor and the lad from Cardiff certainly got us over the line. Still, it's now all a waste of time, very inspiring to stay away.

matty kennedy

most of those key signings where loans too which i think ryan will bring in his targets on. I hope he extends josh grants as one of those.

Yeah couldn't think of his name but that's the one. According to Hallett the analytics got it wrong.

We usually sign someone who has just been injured and on a short term loan with the option to extend. If theyre shite we extend until end of season, if they start banging the goals in the parent club takes them back and sticks them on the bench.

Why do they not move the changing rooms to Bobbies garden area and use the old (new) ones for the every day training use.

People (especially Nool) have got the wrong idea about the reason for moving the Devonport to the BPE.

It's mostly about utilising the seating (and segregation) space better, so as to be able to sell more tickets depending on the demand from either the home or away supporters.

It was discussed at the previous fans forum, but unbelievably nobody picked up on it.

The discussion starts at approx 11.40  and ends at approx 15.53

It is interesting listening and the dilemma revolves around the position of the turnstiles and facilities.
