| Just removed two very long standing ST holders from back of block 6 for standing. Totally ignored block 3, now stormed in to the 50 or so Oldham fans to get their eviction quota up to please Bungo. |

| My youngest is in block 2, second last row and three seats of block 3. The stewrads made them sit down and ignored what they referred to as the choir. They moved as couldn't see quarter of the pitch.
Forza Nerde is still alive and protected it would appear

| if the club is being stern with standing then they need to combat block 3-4 also otherwise isnt it a tad unfair to punish the few and not the blatant. |

Easier to remove say 2 with a few (4 at a guess) stewards, They won't kick off as out numbered, They aren't really gonna steam in to tackle block 3-4, the stewards being out numbered. |

| Send them letters and get the netting out if Back is serious about Safety Certificate. Otherwise leave people in back rows and top of 2 and 4 alone |

| I wonder if the heavy handed tactics are because the safety certificate for the grandstand will probably be being applied for or dished out soon. The club will need to show they don't allow standing. Once it's given the green light I reckon they'll ease off. |

| I'm not so sure there seems a continuation of the family fun day experience under Hallett at the expense of the more traditional fan. |

| Lee and his GF were removed from back row of 6 after one warning, his GF returned 10 mins later for his coat and said he'd been banned. Jason disappeared just before HT and didn't return either. When the steward was challenged about block 3, he just laughed and said 'I'm telling you to sit down, not them'
Did think something was going on as back of block 14 was sat down all of game. Fail to see what storming into 40 or so Oldham fans in 2nd half was going to achieve either. |

| Too fat for the army, too thick for the Police. |

The one who dished out the initial threats in block 6 looked barely old enough to be out of lower school, let alone out of school at all, he also was thinner than most of the occupants of a Darfur refugee camp. The two gorillas he sent up to carry out the 1st eviction were as you described though. |

| Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating an alleged assault that took place during Plymouth Argyle’s home clash with Oldham Athletic on Saturday involving a steward and a visiting supporter.
A video was posted on YouTube which appeared to show an altercation between an Oldham fan and a steward as the Pilgrims and the Latics fought out a 2-2 draw at Home Park in Saturday’s League Two encounter.
Police say the allegation they have received is that the steward was punched first, which led to the altercation with the Oldham fan.
A statement from the police read: “We are investigating an incident in the away end that took place during Plymouth Argyle v Oldham last weekend.
“The allegation we have received is that a steward was punched in the face and the disturbance stemmed from this.
“Officers from the Football Unit will be reviewing CCTV and will progress this matter from there.”
Plymouth Argyle said in a statement: “The club has been made aware of an incident that took place during Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two match with Oldham Athletic.
“That incident is now the subject of a police investigation and, as such, it would be wrong of the club to make any comment at this time.”
In the video blog posted on YouTube, the supporter is seen to angrily react to an incident in which he claims a fellow fan was involved in an altercation with the steward despite ‘doing nothing wrong.’
Other Oldham supporters seen in the video are also unhappy with the treatment of their fellow supporter, who the Oldham fan claims was then ‘strangled on the floor’ to the point of him ‘turning blue.’
he video does not show the alleged assault, only the aftermath in which it is clear to see that a skirmish has occurred.
The stewarding at matches at Home Park has come in for criticism from home and away supporters for some time and this latest incident follows on from one in April when an Argyle fan claimed he was choked by stewards at the Pilgrims’ clash with Portsmouth.
Argyle fan Reece Calcutt, 17, says he was threatened with pepper spray by one particular steward before being manhandled and removed from the stadium, leaving him with bruises.
His father, Quentin, was also removed from the ground after going to the aide of his son during the struggle, which is believed to have started because of persistent standing.
The Pilgrims’ head steward responded to that claim, stating that staff and police were happy with how things were conducted on the day.
Via a statement, Plymouth Argyle admitted that persistent standing is a problem across football and is something that is heavily monitored by stewards on match day.
The statement said that the people in question were told to sit numerous times and have denied that any stewards had access to pepper spray.
It is not known what instigated the disturbance against Oldham, or whether the incident has been reported to Devon & Cornwall Police. |
