Two midfielder players from Plymouth Argyle Dorch signs two young midfield players on loan from Plymouth Argyle, both gaining valuable experience at Step 3 with the Club.
Tom Purrington - Midfielder
Tom, brother of Academy product Ben Purrington has spent the last eight years progressing through the Academy system at Plymouth Argyle since the age of nine.
He is very comfortable on the ball and displays a mature and calm approach to his game. Tom made a number of appearances at under-18 level during the 2015-2016 season as a fifteen-year-old in the Youth Alliance and Merit League. Tom has featured regularly for the U18s and has also made his debut for the South West Peninsula team. He was involved in last season’s successful FA Youth Cup run overcoming Man City and Burnley and he also had exposure in Central League fixtures.
Cameron Sangster
A left-sided midfield player from Newton Abbot, Cameron was scouted by our former recruitment officer John James playing for his local side Chelston Football Club.

| Maybe they ain't good enough but whats the point in having them sat around here doing feck all.
The central league has been cut back least this way they are out playing games, |

The central league has been cut back least this way they are out playing games, Which is why again the club needs a healthy reserve league to compete in with plenty of games so that these types of players can develop against high calibre of player than a pub league player andgetting the shit kicked out of them. in anycase if they arent near the first team then its perhaps best that they do leave rather than stay. |

| Exactly maybe Dorchester or someone else in that league will want them, But doing my research on Dorchester, noticed they got a game against my local team, in some dorset cup. They are in the Western Football League
so if those two are still at dorchester and paly and don't tear it up against them.
Then they aren't exactly what we need.
But thinking about it, these weren't exactly Lowe signings were they, Some of these were offered deals before Lowe arrived. |

| Plymouth Argyle’s teenage prospects Cameron Sangster and Tom Purrington have signed on loan for Dorchester Town until January.
The midfield duo are set to be in the Magpies’ squad for their Southern League Premier Division South game at home Hartley Wintney on Saturday.
The deals for Sangster and Purrington came on the same day as another Argyle youngster, Luke Jephcott, had his loan spell at Truro City extended until January.
Jephcott initially joined Truro, who are in the same league as Dorchester, at the start of August.
Sangster and Purrington have moved to Dorchester to get some game-time because of the fierce competition for places in the Argyle first team squad.
That has only increased with the loan signing of Peterborough United’s versatile attacking player George Cooper earlier today.
Lowe got a good look at 19-year-old Sangster and Purrington, 18, during the pre-season games in July.
Now they will take the next step in their career development with Dorchester.
The Magpies, managed by Callum Brooks, are 19th in the Premier Division South after losing their last three games.
They started the season with a 1-0 home win against Beaconsfield Town but began their current losing run with a 3-0 defeat at Truro on August 13.
Sangster has played twice for Argyle at first team level, both times as a late substitute, in games at home to Oldham Athletic and away to Gillingham in the 2017/18 season.
He missed much of last term, his first as a professional, because of a broken ankle.
Purrington, who stepped up from the apprentice ranks this summer, can play on the right side of defence as well as midfield.
His only first team appearance came off the bench in a Checkatrade Trophy tie away to Newport County in November 2018. |

No but it suggests that perhaps the quality of the player or indeed the standard of football the loaning club plays at isn't the issue at hand and the problem lies closer to home. |
