| I can see if we need to lump it up to someone with their back to the ball , The appeal of Taylor, but how Lowe plays with him needing to be facing goal, Don't see the appeal we still need a striker for times when Grant and Moore aren't fit |

| A few points....
11,405 attendance. There are 12,600 seats in the horseshoe. If Argyle refuse to use all seats available to them and declare we are ‘sold out’ when there are evidently only going to be a hundred or so away fans, then that is a ‘Brentist’ way of going about stadium management and it needs to be addressed because you don’t need hundreds of empty buffers segregation seats if you stadium manage efficiently and professionally.
On to the game. We are still hopelessly weak defensively. Aimson and the young Chelsea lad need to be slotted in tout suite as soon as they are ready. It’s also all very well to complete 15,000,000 passes during a game and having about 80% possession, but if you are going to keep passing sideways in front of the opposing defence without penetrating it nearly as often as you should, then that needs to be addressed.
Lowes obvious instructions to not pump crosses high into the box mean that Ryan Taylor’s future prospects look bleak under the preferred system.
Without doubt the pass pass pass nature of Lowes system means it’s so much easier on the eye than an Adams one. But there are quite a few creases to be ironed out, foreshore. |

| i seriously want to speak to whomever is incharge of the stewards as tonight was abysmal in my block. So much so i feel the need to become an aviva lol
in jist two guys standing in the stariway no intention of sitting in their seats that werent near the stairs the steward stared at them all first half yet didnt bother to go up and tell them to sit YET an old lady stood up for the corner like everyone else does and the steward came running up to give her a bollocking for it then proceded to ignore the two guys blocking the stairway and started on a young teen who was doing anything to warrant the telling off. more to it of course but im saving that fot the email once i find out who i speak too.
As for the game itself we played going forward still shakey at the back mayor's goal was sublime a must see guys. we are doing well this team just lacks the final pieces but once it clicks we will be on fire. Taylor wasnt good at all tonigt. the flag looked shit in the devonport end and salford look a good team that can go places too. overall i think a draw is a fair result. |

| Listening on the radio the defence sounded very weak again. Aimson in when fit and bring the Chelsea boy in immediately. Drop Taylor and Sarcevic completely from squads. Couple weeks till window closes and RL needs players in but am sure he knows it all too well. Cheque book time Hallett again. |

| The obvious thing to say is the current team formation and tactics is vulnerable to teams that defend in an organised way and smother our flair players and are able to score on the counter, e.g Newport and Salford. Am sure Lowe and his team are working on it right now, as we are all saying a big man up front in a passing team aint going to fit. As Sean Mc Carthy said on radio Devon last night at time Argyle are 'overplaying' when attacking. Confident it will come together. |

| Dom Telford's 89th-minute penalty secured a 2-2 comeback draw for Ryan Lowe's Plymouth against League Two new boys Salford at Home Park. Ibou Touray stunned Lowe's Argyle when he rose at the far post to head home a deep cross from the right in the 79th minute to put City ahead for a second time against the run of play. But 10 minutes later Telford restored parity from the spot after Callum McFadzean was fouled during a run into the penalty area. City had taken a 37th-minute lead through target man Jake Beesley, who was unmarked when he headed home Richie Towell's near-post free-kick from the right. Beesley looked set to make it three goals in two games straight after when he ran through one-on-one with Argyle keeper Alex Palmer, but the on-loan West Brom man made a superb block to keep the score down. Plymouth playmaker Danny Mayor levelled with a superb 43rd minute strike, cutting in from the left, choosing his spot and sending a measured rising drive into the far corner out of Chris Neal's reach. Palmer went full stretch to keep out Touary's first time effort as he met Danny Whitehead's cross with a low shot. Argyle were the next to go close as Joe Riley's angled shot from the right smashed off the near post on 65 minutes.

Can anyone explain why Bungo is still head of operations, when all the previous deadwood has been cleared and it is patently obvious how woefully out his depth he is? Once again with a higher than normal attendance, only a handful of turnstiles are open and 5 minutes into the game punters are still taking their seats |

| Argyle had loads of possession, just no cutting edge striker to finish the moves off. Cracker of a goal from Mayor and a good penalty from Telford though. At times Argyle were so slow going forward, moving the ball all over the place at a snail's pace.
Did not rate Salford much but, they did enough to get a point.
The referee was a useless chap at times.
One or two incidents where the stewards were having a go at people for standing up in Block 15.
Next up for me is Reading. |

I agree about Taylor. As I said about Taylor earlier if we are lumping it to him with his back to goal to hold it up , he is perfect. But playing into his feet and needing him facing goal to run on to balls. He's not that kind of player , He's not scored in over a year and doesn't seem to fit Lowe's system , Else he would have played ahead of grant and Moore. Not calling him out for being shit just that he's a square peg for a round hole. |
