| Strikers Ryan Taylor (ankle) and Dom Telford (thigh) will miss out at Buckland because of their injury issues but could feature against Bristol Rovers. According to the Erald, also defender Will Aimson may play his first game due to injury - am looking forward to seeing some of the Bury imports particularly Danny Mayor. |

| BYRON Moore will make his first start as a Pilgrim in the pre-season friendly at Buckland Athletic on Wednesday evening.
The 30-year-old forward, who joined Argyle this week after linking up with the club on the training-camp in Alicante, was part of a largely young line-up that included scholar Ollie Tomlinson.
The Pilgrims will be captain, for the second time in this pre-season, by young first-year professional Adam Randell.
Argyle: 13 Alex Palmer; 17 Byron Moore, 19 Klaidi Lolos, 20 Adam Randell, 22 Tafari Moore, 23 Ashley Smith-Brown, 24 Luke Jephcott, 25 Ollie Tomlinson, 26 Cameron Sangster, 28 Mike Peck, 30 Tom Purrington. Substitutes: 15 Isaac Burdon, 16 Ruben Collum, 29 Alex Fletcher, 31 Mike Cooper (gk). |

Most of the comments I heard last night were about the leaky defence, but then Lowe played his yoof side mainly and a run out for Byron Moore who looks ok, and probably a make or break chance for Tafari Moore. I don't think this game really tells us much, the Rovers game on Saturday will be a run out for most of the first team and an improved defence. I like the look of Alex Palmer in goal and think Cooper will flourish this season, so premature to be worried about leaking goals. Argyle: Alex Palmer (Mike Cooper h/t); Ollie Tomlinson, Mike Peck, Cameron Sangster; Tafari Moore, Adam Randell, Tom Purrington, Ashley Smith-Brown (Reuben Collum 64 mins); Luke Jephcott; Klaidi Lolos (Isaac Burdon 57 mins), Byron Moore. (Alex Fletcher h/t) |

| It's a bit late to be worried about leaky defences if and when you are bottom of the league. |

| As I said I don't think the game last night tells the fans much, but was probably useful for Lowe and his coaches, I like his attitude towards the youngsters. |
