THE first home fixture of Ryan Lowe’s Argyle reign will see us face Westcountry rivals Bristol Rovers in a friendly on Saturday, July 27.
Throughout their history, the Greens have faced Bristol Rovers more times than any other opponent, and Pilgrim legend turned Gas manager Graham Coughlan will bring his side down to Devon for a warm-up match to continue this tradition.
It is the second time the Irishman will face his old club as a manager, having secured a last-gasp 2-2 draw at Home Park in a blockbuster clash in March.
While 'Cocko' remains a firm favourite among the Green Army, all attention will be on the home dugout at the Theatre of Greens in July, where new Pilgrims’ manager Ryan will bring his new-look side to the hallowed pitch of Home Park for the first time.
An adult ticket for the game, which kicks off at 3pm, will cost £10, while concessions can enjoy watching a new era take shape for the cost of £6. Under-18s admission costs just £3, while under-12s can enter Home Park £1. Under-8s, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, will get in for free. We will advise in due course when tickets are available for purchase.
Season-Tickets are not valid for this friendly match.
