| Thought you deserved a new thread as the last thread has finally served its purpose.
And with all your outgoing players, Carey, Ladapo and Lameiras etc...
Looks like there's a very real chance you'll be securing back to back relegations. |

| Danny Major is currently at Home Park, so hopefully we can get his signing confirmed.
Just need another 8 players to be spotted up there now! |

| Any season we find ourselves playing you, it’s always the starkest reminder that we are in the trough that you pretty much permanently reside in.
Enjoy your two Cup finals.
PS. You’d cut your left bollock off, deep fry it and eat it for supper to have Ryan Lowe as gaffer wouldn’t you? |

| Not sure why you think Ryan Lowe is such an amazing manager. He had one of the largest budgets last season and nearly slipped up promotion on more than 1 occasion. His budget was that big that Bury are about to face a winding up order because it was the unsustainable.
Probably will be straight back with you (Not us, we're going up) in the 2020/2021 season as they're looking at a point deduction at the very least this season.

You've currently got a bunch of kids painting your ground you're that broke.
You're Plymouth Argyle, you ain't anybody's cup final, it's relatively cute that you like to think of yourselves like that, but realistically, when you bring 300 fans to us it makes our game against teams like Forest Green Rovers much more exciting.
Looking forward to Bradford though, mind you. |

| Aren't you worried that Exeter only looked like promotion candidates when you had Stockley? After he left, Exeter went from challenging for the automatic places, to scrapping for the playoffs and missed out. You replaced Stockley with a bloke that was average at Torquay, and have now bolstered your attack with a relegated Yeovil reject.

| If I'm being completely honest, I'm not overly happy with our business so far. More than happy with our keeper replacement of Pym though. Fisher was on trial with us before going to Yeovil when we told him we didn't want him - Not sure why we've took him now. He isn't a bad striker for someone who can come off the bench for extra options I guess. Bowman has been very good for us actually, and definitely capable of getting us out this league if we have someone to work alongside him.
Can see us finishing around 8-6th this season.
But, 10+ places above you won't be the worst season imaginable.

| Lol. We may be shit but we aren't going to be that shit. We won't finish that far apart with neither in the playoffs IMO. |

| Hey geezer, city's 2 signings yesterday look fantastic- a keeper who has mainly played in the non-league and an injury prone 34 year old CB, just released by Yeovil.
Seems a couple of strange signings? |

Seems a couple of strange signings? The keeper you refer to (Jonny Maxted) just played half a season in league one, and LEAGUE ONE side Accrington aren't happy he's left them for us. He left Yeovil with mutual consent to join us. He's a tall and aggressive centre back. Played over half the season for Yeovil so isn't that injury prone and will be a good player to come off the bench should we need some extra height. Won't be a starter, but definitely good enough for our bench and most league 2 benches. Not sure if you can remember this league, you weren't gone very long - But tall, aggressive and physical sides win you titles in this league. If you can produce a starting 11 with those qualities and also have depth to your squad - You'll walk it. We've been in this division for so long because we've tried to play the neat, Barcelona style footy. It doesn't work. |

Me either, probably injured. But that doesn't make him 'Injury Prone' He's played over 630 footy matches in his career! |

| Time to resurface this old thread, struggling at Newport? Relegation is essentially confirmed. |

How did city do on their last trip to Newport? (lost 1-0). Didn't City also finish below Newport last season also? |

Right on, champ. Back to the heights of the Championship in a few years is it? A cursory glance at our history would tell you that yes, that is what will inevitably happen. Your team, on the other hand.... |

Your team, on the other hand.... It'll inevitably happen? Inevitably? A bold claim, based on absolutely nothing. There is a good chance you will get back there, but to say it is inevitable is beyond hilarious. You say it with the amount of confidence that previously echoed the we will 'inevitably' reach the Premier League line Then again, word has it you're trying to get rid of that failure Lowe already and pinch our Taylor away. https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2019/september/-club-statement-matt-taylor/?fbclid=IwAR0pWDF9IJCkgQjPaZcObolVmc8SWyUrlF5WRGeU4naBjtWhgM5ZOjjukds |

| Who the feck has been saying well reach the prem? We blew that chance about a decade ago but this simple bit of maths may help. Argo crowds presently about 11k but could easily rise to 15k in a league 1 promotion season. Scum presently about 4k which has risen from about 2k because you are presently in the top places. We can easily sustain an assault on league one with our crowds yet with yours you will struggle to stay in league 1 let alone fight your way out. History backs this theory up as well. |

'Easy sustain an assault on league one' Talking of history, shall we have a look over the last decade? I think you greenies down in Cornwall need to give your head a serious wobble, and smell the coffee. You're shite now. You're not up there or grouped with the average top end of league one / championship sides. You're now at very best a mid league one side on a good day. Deluded little feckers |

Deluded little feckers You'll need our admin period and the worst assets stripping cnut of an owner for evermore to assist your crowing. Even with that shit stain on our pants historically we have always been and always will be a bigger club than City. |
